Ample space for two, in this one bed two story apartment with kitchen & laundry Clean with few knocks here & there. Really nice bed but pillows poor, linen was fresh & quite new Good location 500m to town, 1km to the jetty There is a pub next door but didn't use it. Likewise there is a poo, but it wax closed, I assume covid reasons , but it was cold so wouldn't have used it.

First time staying at the ship inn, please be aware that they take money out of your credit card 24 hours before you arrive but they say it’s in their terms and conditions! Well it’s not on your confirmation email does not state that at all! During this pandemic I have never come across a hotel that takes your money before you arrive, we have travelled a state of W.A. for the last year when the borders are open and I believe all hotels take the payment when you arrive due to the fact if the borders get closed it’s too messy to do all the refunds. Secondly the rooms are self-contained a very nice apartments but the downfall is because it’s right next door to the pub you get the young ones about 11:30 pm to about 1:30 pm yelling fighting in the car park on a Friday Saturday night so make sure you request a room away from the car park, they should’ve put double glaze windows in and insolation in the walls I would never recommend anybody to stay here on a Friday or Saturday night. Food of the restaurant was nice and not too expensive the service well not as good as what I expected, I ordered a house red 250 mil glass I handed a $20 note over she handed me six dollars back after I realised the next day that that was a very expensive glass of house red. Check out is at 10 but they cut the internet off at 8 am ! House keeping came on the Saturday and they didn’t do a thing no making of beds, no filling up of milk, no fresh towels nothing! I think the staff need to be trained a bit they don’t seem to care about their customers when I checked in it was just like I will that’s our terms and conditions it’s not your terms and conditions it’s not written in a confirmation email we are in a pandemic everywhere do not take anything out of your credit card and to you arrive otherwise there’s a lot of credits going back into peoples accounts which can take up to months as we’ve seen with travel agents and airlines. Would I stay here again would I recommend it the answer is no even though the location was perfect they just don’t seem to have that nice friendly touch or even care it’s all about the $$$$$ I have sent off two emails on Friday to 2 different email addresses and by Sunday I still not had an answer to my emails not very good customer service, so my advice would be to think very hard about staying here.

We stayed in unit 3....first 2 nights no problem...units are good clean and enough of what you need..then came Friday night 12am pub turns out lots of young drunk patrons...car park turns into a public toilet many doing their business up parked cars.. Then the Olympic start who can destroy the fences, hurling themselves at it . Cars and taxis playing dodge the drunks...them they find the pool area...had to ring the pub got giggling girl thought it was funny...NOT...security did show up and kicked them out... Took till 1.30 to finally feel our vehicle was safe in public car park. This place needs urgent security upgrade for all units (ie security locked gates ) At $220 per night well over priced for what you get, Never again and would not recommend staying there at Weekends or function nights.

accommodation was nice and clean, had everything you needed, if i was to come again i would ask for rooms away from Dan Murphy's and the pub carpark, as it was very noisy till about 1.00 am with patrons screaming and shouting

So I am trying to give an honest review and rating, but everything has a price bracket. The two story accommodation was clean and functional, but absolutely not luxurious. As you might expect from a large pub, it is located adjacent to a couple of busy roads so don’t expect peace and quiet. We had one room overlooking the pool which was okay. The other overlooked a road and a car park. You want to make sure you get pool view rooms! A sitting, kitchen and dining room is on the ground floor with all the basics for an extended stay, including laundry equipment. It was roomy and clean but not very exciting. The bedroom upstairs was large with a large bed and ample wardrobe space. The bathroom however was very tiny. I think some bedroom space could have been sensibly sacrificed to make more room for it. Staff were great on checking in but that was the limit of our interaction. So, I cannot say that there is anything wrong with the accommodation as such, but we paid almost $1000 for two rooms and this is just way over the top for what we got. Admittedly it was school holidays but even so, we felt it was massively overpriced. Would I recommend it? Definitely not at this price. I would have been very happy had it been $100 or so per night per room but not at the price we paid. Sorry!
