It is nestled in behind the sand dunes of the North Shore in amongst the National Park reserve. Just up the road from a great Tavern and the 3rd Cutting entrance to the Pristine beach road that leads to Double Island point and Rainbow Beach. (Insert need 4wd vehicle here)The Park itself is very BASIC but it has all that...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this campsite. It was unreal opening the camper van door to see wild kangaroos hopping around by you. The parrots came for a feed too. The beach is absolutely gorgeous. You get to pitch up wherever you can find a space. No amenities, but that doesn't matter; as what a gem campsite to stay...

We stayed here mid week for 3 nights and had the best time. The beach is beautiful. We did have some friendly kangaroos jump on our tent but it was still a lovely spot to camp, you will need to bring all of your own supplies but there are toilets and showers.

Have been here a few times & always great! Nice & close to the beach and also the cutting to drive up the beach. Nice flat camping spots with a toilet & shower block which is a huge plus. Highly recommended for families, the kids loved it!

Fantastic hidden location. Loved waking up to the birds and the sound of crashing waves every morning. Some wildlife were a bit of a pest (Bush Turkeys coming into camp). But ill definitely be heading back.

Brilliant place to get away from it all next to the beach, Take fresh food and water as there are limited local supplies. Choose camping spot carefully as some can be quite wind swept good spots available under trees though

Wow, I never stop being amazed about the cool places in Australia and I've travel to a lot of place. Before today when I think of Noosa, I think of Hastings Street and not much else, but the North Shore is a more relaxed, you can get your "camping pants" on. Weather your based in Brisbane or further away come...

My parents and I booked a grassed powered site (no 3) for 4 nights. The campground is only accessible via a vehicle ferry across the Noosa River, costing $7 each way per vehicle, plus extra for a trailer or van etc. Ours totalled $16 each way. The road is now sealed the entire way from the ferry to the campground...

Well stocked kiosk & great amenity block. Numbers of campers kept low. Experience local wildlife up close, Kangaroos, Monitor Lizards & Bush Turkeys. Great for families, conventional car access, no dirt or sand tracks to get to camp ground.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Revel in the abundance of natural flora and fauna in an untouched natural bushland setting at the sprawling Noosa North Shore Beachfront Campground situated on the picturesque Teewah Beach. The kids will love the short vehicle ferry trip over the Noosa River before you get to the Campground adding to the holiday adventure. The site is a popular location for travellers with a love of camping, fishing, surfing, bushwalking, beach walking or 4 wheel driving which is accessible from the "third cutting" beach access a few hundred metres north of the Campground, providing a spectacular drive up the beach which stretches from Noosa up to Double Island Point, and across to Fraser Island. Whilst the park offers a wilderness feel, it is close enough to jump back onto the vehicle ferry to the vibrant town of Noosa, home to fabulous shops, restaurants, cafes and Noosa's famous main beach. We are not on Town Water, so please make arrangements for your own water supply. Note: The toilets and showers are connected to Borewater. Noosa North Shore Campground is an absolute must for holiday makers, families and retirees looking for pristine beaches and an unspoilt location. There's plenty of room for your 5th Wheeler, or your Winnebago. ... more   less

“Up on the dunes would give you a great view of the beach, but if you're in a tent, the wind could make it quite noisy. Just behind the dune is sheltered from wind, but you still get the sound of the waves. At our site, there was a path leading over the dune and down to the beach. Private access!”
