Best hostel we stayed in travelling the East Coast. It is a great hostel with a real homely feel to it. The hostel has it's own bar and restaurant, we didn't eat there but had a couple of drinks and it was very chilled out. The hostel has great laundry services and a huge kitchen for everyone to use. We...

Fun, good food, great vibe & totally worth the visit. Have diner & drinks, this place is brilliant. We played table tennis, pool, ate diner & drank with friends. It's an actual backpackers, with a fun carefree feel. Enjoy!

Recommended by our Airbnb host, just 2 mins from Hastings Street and wow what a find. Local crowd mixed with backpackers, absolute best value beer and tasty pub grub. Been coming to Noosa for 20+ years and Halse Lodge was a terrific evening. Thanks!

I have stayed 2 nights in Halse Lodge and absolutely LOVED it! So far it's been one of my favourite hostels I've been to on the East Coast. Why? First of all it has a perfect location, only minutes away from the beach and the lively Hastings street! The staff is super friendly and always there to help. During the...

I stayed here for 6 nights in the dorm accomodation. I really liked the vibe here. There are definitely some flaws including no WiFi in the rooms, only two plug sockets for 6 people in a dorm, some dorms without lockers and not the cleanest bathrooms I've seen. However there is a really nice atmosphere I think and most of...

My friend and I stayed at Halse Lodge for six nights in March. We had booked a 16 people dorm room, but ended up with a 5 people room, which was a nice surprise. The staff were friendly and eager to help, the kitchen facilities were nice and clean, and the rooms were also good. The one thing missing was...

Very nice location with the beach a short walk away and the hostel had a very nice atmosphere being a historical place. Missing lockers in some rooms. Kitchen could have been at bit more clean. Straff was very friendly and helpfull.

It is very pleasant to sit outside under the trees in this lovely nearly 100 year old building. And it is refreshing to be surrounded by young international travellers As a bonus an Irish Band was playing. I had one of the best ever Fish&Chips. Nice crispy french fries and 2 big pieces of fish in a tasty batter. Served...

Definitely the best located hostel in Noosa. It's right on the beach and the supermarket is a 10 minute walk away. Good kitchen facilities and the wifi works pretty well but it doesn't work in any of the rooms which is annoying. The rooms are hot, no air conditioning just a fan. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The no...

Me and my friends have stayed in a lot of hostels in Australia and this one has by far been the worst experience we've had...we booked a 4 or 8 bed dorm but when we arrived we were told we were in the 16 bed dorm (the rainforest room) as this was "all that was available". Not ideal but we...
