The Premier Inn Catterick Garrison Hotel comes highly recommended for its impeccable cleanliness, with guests consistently noting the pristine condition of both rooms and common areas. The central location is a hit among those looking to explore, offering easy access to local attractions and necessities. While the hotel's rooms are celebrated for their comfort and tranquility, some guests suggest there's room for improvement regarding maintenance and noise control.
The amenities, especially the comfortable beds, enhance the stay despite occasional critiques of the WiFi and a somewhat dated decor. Mixed views on value and service suggest experiences may vary, with the staff generally receiving accolades for their friendliness and efficiency.

Detailed Reviews
Visited for two nights with my husband and almost 2 year old son.
Location wise it was perfect for us and we booked it predominantly as it was a good base for us to explore taking into account what we were planning on doing.
It is centrally located right next to a leisure and shopping complex consisting of KFC, subway, McDonald's, domino pizza, fish and chip shop, tesco etc which was really handy. It was also facing a hungry horse type pub with lots of deals and offers available
We took advantage of breakfast both mornings which was great and filled us for the day ahead. Food was replenished as necessary and consisted of cereal, toast, yoghurt, pastries like croissiants, pancakes and Muffins and then cooked breakfast such as sausage, bacon, black pudding, egg, beans and mushrooms - no complaints.
Check in and check out were both easy and quick. Generous check out time of 12 which is always good. Not to mention lots of parking available and free.
The room was basic however served it's purpose and did the job. A bit of tlc needed in certain areas. Spacious enough and was provided a travel cot
Surprised that the tea tray doesn't include biscuits and if you want any you have to ask at reception as you would expect to find them in your room. Also if you want your room cleaned you now need to specifically ask at reception as opposed to just displaying a certain sign on your room door. Also the TV only allows you to go up to a certain volume which was still very quick.
All in all great location with lots of amenities nearby and really did the job of what we were looking for.

Great stay at the Premier Inn, staff were lovely and friendly especially the lady on reception Ceila who could not do enough.
This lady deserves a promotion :-)
The area is a great location for shops and foot outlets and easy links to the motoway.

I had not planned to stay here, but had been involved in a serious vehicle accident and was unable to travel home. being aware of my circumstances the staff were very considerate and supportive of my need. I had a large amount of luggage and was provided with laundry trolley so it was convenient to take to my room

Comfortable bed, friendly staff and reasonable quality (but expensive) food available in the lobby restaurant. Sadly, everything else is tatty and in need of a full refurb. Including the rooms, which have noisy, struggling aircon, creaking floors and, almost the worst of all as it creates the most frustrating impact on business and personal communications - absolutely horrendous WiFi connection (an utter rip off, even at ÂŁ5 per 24hrs) with poor stability and slow, intermittent download speeds. Not a good experience for the price of a room. A pity, as I have stayed in much better Premier Inn locations.

The hotel is a reasonably modern building with air conditioning (which worked). The hotel is clean, the hot water is hot and the beds are comfortable. The staff are pleasant and helpful. That's the good stuff. On the down side the free wifi is glacially slow even for doing simple emails. And the restaurant .... is best avoided. It has been downgraded from a Brewers Fayre and is now only open to hotel residents. My evening mean is best described as DREARY. Could not have a pizza because "there is no cheese" - seriously! The restraunt is gloomy, dreary and an unattractive place to eat. Better eat at Tesco cafe across the road. Breakfast was more of the same with undercooked sausages (warmed rather than cooked), rubbery eggs and lukewarm mushrooms. If I stay again it will be evening meal at Tesco and breakfast at Costa. As a PS, avoid the Hungry Horse next door too!

We had booked and paid for a family room because of our 86yr old Mother with terminal cancer needed supervision at night, there were no children. On arrival the female receptionist could not understand our explanation for this as by all accounts you are only allowed 2 adults in the room under normal circumstances. A week prior we had also stayed at a Premier Inn Junction 42 M6 the staff there were exceptionally understanding and accommodating of our situation. The receptinist unbeknowing to us had pressed a hidden button summoning the duty Manageress ( June) who exploded through to the recption desk practically ignoring our explanation and chastised us for referring to the receptionist as 'she' when describing the conversation previously. Her manner was aggressive and confrontational in front of us and my elderly ill Mother! Not impressed with this at all. It requires some further training on how to deal with people and situations that may not always be 'the norm'. Needless to say we will not be staying there again.

Wi Fi. Despite paying the ÂŁ5.00 for Ultimate Wi Fi it was slow when it worked and not at all when I wanted to work later in the evening. I had purchased the access online so the staff were unable to reimburse me. Even when given a new access code which was accepted, the same message of "Unable to Connect" kept coming up on computer, phone and tablet..
Also the air-conditioning was being serviced on the floor my room was located and although a fan was provided I found my room was too warm for me to get a good nights sleep. I appreciate that due to the construction of the building and for safety reasons the window could not be opened. For this I was still charged the full Room price.
It is only the excellent staff and in particular Kayleigh, that stopped me rating my stay terrible. I usually use Premier Inn's when travelling for work or leisure but after my last couple stays and mainly having to pay extra for poor Wi Fi, I'll probably start looking for alternative accommodation.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights over a weekend and found the central location and free car parking a real positive.
When we could speak to staff they were polite and tried to be helpful.
The issue for us was that it was difficult to find a staff member when you needed one and their knowledge of the hotel and the way that it operated was very limited.
This resulted in service quality issues which could not be remedied in the short term.
The hotel itself was quiet and in a great location, but our impression of the visit was tainted by the low levels of staffing which made even the simplest query difficult to resolve.

Nice quiet hotel, friendly staff, comfy bed. Very tired on arrival and we were sorted quickly and efficiently. The meal deal was useful too. In the restaurant Jenna was great; I'm a coeliac and she offered my food straight from the kitchen, instead of the buffet, I felt safe in her hands. Plenty of local amenities for those needing more to do too!

Sorry, that's a different hotel, I was thinking of
I do not know but I'm sure if you ask them they will be able to tell you. But the rooms we have stayed in have only had a bath and a shower in it.
If you go online we are now open and this would give the best option for rooms but we are welcoming the guests .
Sorry, I cannot answer this question. You will need to contact Premier Inn directly.
