My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Olimpico in Salerno, Italy for 5 nights. I was a little worried about this hotel from previous reviews, but we had a great experience. They picked us up from the train station and preceded to give us all of the information about the area (an entire packet of brochures) along with bus...

This is a really nice hotel in a horrid inconvenient and dirty location. Overall the staff couldn't be any more helpful, the rooms are excellent the pool area is pretty, and very nice indeed. But... the location is dire. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, but there are only 3 buses a day each way and virtually...

My husband and I stayed here September 28th and 29th, 2008. It was inexpensive as far as Italian hotels go. The standard of the hotel and the food.was excellent. The location is a little bit of a concern. The area around the hotel is generally dirty and quite isolated as far as things to do. We had a car and...

While we had some misgivings about the hotel's location based on reading others' reviews, we found that it fully adequate for the daily excursions we undertook. We were there after season and the businesses along the shore appeared a little run down, except for the gelatria which was fantastic. The hotel was easy to find (the directions worked), was in...

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the hotel for 3 nights during July 08 and to be honest this was more than enough. The hotel itself is a lovely hotel, very new in decor and staff very friendly and helpful. Also the hotel states collection from train station at request which they provided for us and also a return trip...

Well, it is clear that Hotel OIympico has worked the Internet and Search Engine Optimization to come out number one on just about any search for a hotel in the Amalfi/Salerno region, but, their service and attitude deserves much more investment than their web strategy. For a family facility, it is rather child hostile....the list of rules of what can...

We stayed in the hotel for 10 days in July 2008, and have mixed views about the experience. This hotel has good and bad points and it depends what you want from a holiday. The hotel is nice and clean but quite small, the grounds are very well maintained and the prices seemed reasonable. The hotel used to be 3*...

Our family have just returned from a weeks stay in Hotel Olimpico. We found the staff extremely friendly and helpful in all areas ( reception, bar, dining room etc.) We hired a car and you definitely need one as there is nothing to do in the area. We only had one visit to the private beach and at that time we found...

We booked the hotel at the very last minute via the Amalfi hotel official website. I was taken in by the photos, and the good prices. I booked....then went onto this site and thought..." What I have done?". We stayed four days. I would return! It was very comfortable. A car is essential. There is a small shack-like bistro within...

We have just stayed here (April 08) for the second time. Ths stay was better than our first in fact. We had a lovely large room in the annex block. Warm with heating at night (spring can be chilly) but air-con during the warm days. A nice balcony, with pool view. Staff very friendly. Free internet useful for planning visits,...
