We needed the Gungahlin location factor and that's exactly what we paid for. For a weekend stay for 1-2 nights it's perfect. The apartment was very compact with everything we needed. The only exception was the architectural design layout of the apartment. We booked a one bedroom apartment that featured a wall partition, with an open top space, dividing us...

Neat clean and local. Great place to stay, spacious room with opening doors to the balcony. Small fully equipped kitchen with a pod coffee machine. Great shower and beds. Car parking can be tricky, best to park up and walk around. Free wifi on site. The staff are super helpful and polite. A little mini store is locate next to...

Recently spent two nights at Abode in Gungahlin, ACT, and cannot recommend it highly enough. Close to shops to buy staples if required. Washer/dryer in bathroom. Very comfortable. Partner, who is not easily impressed, raved about the cleanliness and amenities in the room. Definitely will be returning. Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed three nights in a Studio Apartment, which was very nice with a small balcony, kitchenette, dishwasher and a washing machine/dryer combo and individual air con. We had a room at the back of the building which might be quieter than those at the front. Abode Gungahlin is about a 20 minute drive from the centre of Canberra. Within...

We travelled down to Canberra from Sydney fully expecting to travel further down the highway when a filling came out, and this hotel is just across the road from the dentist. This is not a budget hotel, it's well appointed and has style. I would estimate that it's around 6 years old but still looks fresh. Parking is underneath the...

Abode Gungahlin is situated in the Gungahlin town centre which was great for us since most of the relatives we were visiting lived in the Gungahlin /Belconnen area, meaning it wasn't far to travel. Also, since it's situated in the Gungahlin town centre, it's only 5 minutes walk to the shopping centre as well as a huge selection of your...

I've just spent a week at the Abode Apartments and I would have to say it's the worst I've stayed in, in Australia. This has nothing at all to do with the staff or the room itself. The staff are pleasant and helpful, and the rooms neat and tidy and well maintained. It is completely to do with the noise...
