We paid extra for a room with a balcony(301) and a view. Beautiful view but didn't sleep well since the windows didn't fit well and door onto corridor was also badly fitted so the room was flooded with light through the night and early morning. Bed also firm. On day 2 we had to move rooms because the cleaner shattered...

We only stayed at the Hotel Leonor de Aquitania, but it was a lovely stay. The hotel itself was stunning, and the rooms were lovely. Ours looked out onto the street but we weren´t bothered by noise. The bathroom was spacious with lots of hot water - and we had free wifi. We opted for breakfast and it was a...

We had a very good experience at the Hotel Leonor de Aquitania on several levels. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, even extending to the gentleman who was on the desk as we were leaving helping us to deal with a problem with our rental car. Above and beyond normal call of duty and gracious...

We moved to this hotel from the Parador in Cuenca, as our experiences there were so awful. Staff at the Leonor were polite and welcoming. The suite is wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. We look forward to returning!

Lovely room, awesome shower, the best breakfast of anyplace we stayed, cost extra but well worth it. Make sure you book a room with a balcony the view of the gorge is breathtaking. Everything was clean and is good repair. A parking garage is right across the street if you need it.

Booked an overnight on way north and arrived on a very wet afternoon after following a very tortuous route through Cuenca to get here. Parking opposite was 15 euro reduced rate if staying in the hotel and you need to get a slip from reception, saving just over 2 euro. Hotel is well placed for the old town and our...

Well this hotel is near the castle so if walking you will have alot of steps to navigate. I believe that if wet the cobbled streets could be lethal, make sure you have the right walking boots. There is always the bus route 1+2. This Hotel was the most expensive per night I paid for during my stay. You expect...

We enjoyed our brief overnight at this hotel. Bus stop is very nearby -- we came from the new train station via the public bus and it took a little over 30 minutes on two buses. With luggage, it is advisable not to make the uphill walk, but it is not impossible, it is definitely doable. Property and our room...

Hotel Leonor de Aquitania is an 18th century gem of a hotel located almost at the top of the historic old town and is one of the most charming in the ancient city. Each room is furnished and decorated differently. My room was surprisingly ultra modern, with wonderful bed linens, reading night lights, large flat screen TV on wall, desk,...

this is quite a large hotel, located right at the top of the old town. A public car park is almost opposite the hotel (15 E per night) or you can drive to the very top of town and there is more parking (this may be free). Breakfast was good and reasonably priced at 11 euros for 2. (great coffee).

“We were happy with the standard room. Apparently the gorge view rooms are well worth the money-- we did not see one but can attest that the views from the hotel over the gorge would be spectacular.”
