I'm conflicted in this review. On one hand, the amenities are not great and it seems like a tired hotel in need of a refresh (it's not just that the place is old). However, you can't stay in a 16th century convent very often. So,...More

How you say, staying in a Monastery of the XVI century is not very often. Eat in a Refectory, having a coffee at the Chapel, or a drink in the Cloister ... either. Our facilities are in continuous improvement, the last reform has been a...More

The rooms are comfortable and with superb views over the famous hanging houses, the staff friendly and helpful without being obsequious, the food of good quality and well-cooked and the conversion of this 16th Century Monastery very well-done. The only reasons why I didn't give...More

The Parador is located in a very beautiful and unique surroundings. The views are breathtaking both in day time and at night. The hotel charges a high price for the location but the service is far from 4 stars. The receptionist was not friendly upon...More

I guess you would be looking at a 20 -30 minute walk to go down to the bottom of the road and walk back up the other side. You could always ask to be led over the bridge blindfold! (Only joking!)
