We stayed in the ‘Treehouse’ dome for 2 nights to celebrate my teenager’s birthday and were not disappointed! The area is quiet and feels secluded, but is only a 45 minute drive from Moncton. The attention to detail at this resort is amazing! There was nothing that we could think of that was missing or lacking. The dome included a full kitchen (toaster oven, induction stove top, large fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine and kettle), and any dishes and cooking utensils you could need including the those required for the BBQ on your private deck. Private bathroom with sink, shower and toilet (there was even a towel warmer!) and ample hot water. Each dome includes a mini split heat pump and a propane stove for heating. Our dome included a king bed on the main level and queen bed in the loft. There was a nice seating area with two rocking chairs and a small table to eat at with 4 dining chairs. The beautiful wrap-around deck overlooks the forest and you’ll barely know there are other people staying on the property. On the deck you’ll find a seating area with 4 Adirondack chairs and a propane fireplace along with a private hot tub and BBQ. There is a nice walking trail on the property, though it’s very steep in many spots; if you have young kids or anyone in your party with mobility issues it may not be suitable. Each dome has its own parking spot(s) and only registered guests are allowed on the property. The main gate is locked at night so you won’t have anyone driving around the property unless they’re staying on site. It’s a beautiful spot and we’ll definitely be back! Check out their website for details on what’s available for special events etc.

Recently came at these domes for a two-nights stay. Christy and Dave did an awesome job and building this retreat! We stayed in the Anchor Dome which was very clean, welcoming and plenty to do at the dome (hiking, games, sauna and hot tub). The Balsam team offers other stuff to do as well for an extra fee, but they are worth it! Highly recommended, you wont regret staying here!

My sister and I went to celebrate her birthday and stayed at the Treehouse Dome. I got the celebration package as an add on and it was worth it. The custom cake was delicious. As soon as you walk in the door you feel relaxed. The ambiance was perfect. Can’t recommend this place enough. Looking forward to going back.

This is a place full of unexpected luxuries. We stayed in The Arizona. The location is fantastic for those who love to get back to nature with all the luxuries of home at hand. We walked the Silverman Trail and although it is not for the faint hearted it is beauty at its best. We loved the daily "tree mail" which was a bag of more peanuts for the squirrels, games and some sort of activity/treat for us. We stayed for three days and the tree mail became one of the things we looked forward to each day. The hot tub was awesome and the bed was so comfortable you never want to leave. The staff are great. They are friendly, helpful and have thought of everything. We will certainly stay here again and we highly recommend it to everyone.

These domes have everything you could need for a luxurious getaway and more. The attention to detail is impeccable. Towel warmer, BBQ, hot tub, fire table, plush robe, Bluetooth speaker, Keurig machine, heat pump - they’re all included. Then there are special packages you can order to add even more options - like a movie night package complete with screen, projector and tonnes of snacks. I truly believe that if there was something you didn’t have, the operators would find a way to get it for you. The site offers amenities in addition to what is inside your dome. There is a hiking trail, a giant chess set and a forest library. For a touch of whimsy, you also get a bag of peanuts to feed the squirrels with, and you get tree mail. We couldn’t wait to see what our surprise delivery was going to be each day. The surroundings are so peaceful and quiet. We stayed in the Farmhouse dome which overlooks the farm across the street. It had some beautiful sunsets. You get a little bit of noise from the traffic, but it is not a busy street, so it is not very intrusive. My family and I loved our stay here. The service was excellent and we had a lot of fun. I have to dig deep to think of anything I thought could be improved, but two suggestions would be to provide anti-slip mats for the showers and to check if the guests have allergies to scents before turning on the aromatherapy diffuser. I highly recommend Balsam Ridge and can’t wait to go back!

We felt very welcomed when we arrived. The dome was spotless, everything needed was provided and more. There's a dishwasher, towel warmer, cards for the hot tub, deck games, BBQ, fire table, and even eucalyptus hanging in the shower. We brought our pup who had a message from Smith and Wesson, treats, a bed, toys in a toy basket, blanket, bowls, and poop bags left for us to use for her. The walking trail was great and included swings to use, a giant chess game and a forest library you can bring a book to add and take a book from. Such a relaxing time and perfect spot to unwind. We enjoyed all the different birds in the area and feeding the squirrels on their own little picnic table with an umbrella. We had a wonderful time and can't wait for our next stay!
