We stopped here for one night because it was so close to the chateau, there were 3 couples and we all really enjoyed it. The weather was wet so we didn't miss the a/c. Our French was limited but the owners son was a great host in the wine tasting room. We spoke the universal language. We bought red &...

Spotlessly clean & spacious room and en-suite, newly remodeled. No Air-con. Friendly people. Difficult to locate, even with sat-nav. Not enough signage. A bit out of the way The breakfast was a bit basic. WiFi not great.

We used the hotel as a stop over en route back to Cherbourg. The room was clean and simple but ok. Unfortunately no air con, vents or fans. Very warm. The owner's sister and family were in the room above and kept us awake until the early hours moving furniture and being generally noisy. Their children were still noisy until...

Away from restaurants although family own...

Visited as we stayed at the adjacent "Le Pigeonnier" Gite. They're set in a quite rural environment near Tours. Highly recommend to book a table. The food was delicious. They also have very good wines from the property. Very friendly and welcome owners.

“We had the room with French Doors so we couldn't leave them open at night, if you like to leave your window at night don't take this room. A very pretty room though.”
