Room was ok. The food they serve was not to our taste. Owner is a kind of an unusual person. To us she looked like someone who felt exalted above us. We did not like her. The other staff members were OK.The ambiance of the...More

Aska, the owner made us feel like house guests rather than paying customers. She was always helpful with recommendations of tours and also helped me when I was suffering from some illness by providing a local remedy.

Hola! That depends on the category you would like to book. The cheapest rooms are not very private, but single huts are. About fans I don't remember honestly, but I didn't need it, was chilly enough at night. For further questions I guess it's best to email the management directly. Greetings!

Hello, Thank you for your question. From Punta Gorda to Livingston, there is a daily boat in the morning and another one at 13.00. It is organied by memo boat service tour, telephone in Belize 00501-6305889, in Guatemala 502 48969215, 502 48814427.
On Tuesday and on Friday there is scheduled a direct public boat from Punta Gorda to Livingston at 11.00 am and at 14.00, costs USD$25, takes one hour). It is better to travel in the morning as the sea gets choppy after 12.00am. If there are 6 people, there is a direct boat to Livingston on the other days too so it is good to ask around.
Otherwise there is a daily boat that goes from Punta Gorda to Puerto Barrios (at 10.00am and 14.00, takes 1.5 hour). There is also a boat at 16.00 but we do not know if it runs daily. From Puerto Barrios you will need a boat to Livingston (from the same dock). The boats to Livingston in the afternoon are not scheduled and they leave as soon as they are full (price is Q35-Q50). The last boat leaves at 17.00.
We can pick you up from the main dock in Livingston (where you arrive) if you give us a call when you are there (Q50 p.p., min 2 ppl, 30 minutes).
I am sorry, we do not have any information about the flights to Belize City. There is an airport in Punta Gorda too. Hope you find it helpful, best regards, Aska
