The Transamerica Resort Comandatuba has garnered a reputation for its serene and picturesque setting, with guests frequently lauding the resort's cleanliness and the vibrant atmosphere created by music and entertainment. While some guests have called out the rooms for needing refurbishment and addressing issues such as mold, the resort's amenities earn rave reviews for their variety and the staff's attentive service. Opinions on value for money vary, with praise for the services and premium offerings counterbalanced by concerns over food quality and extra costs.

Hello!
My name is Bárbara and I went to the Resort with my fiancé Luciano. In general, we really liked it, but we believe that there are points that can be improved and we will mention them below;

Buffet Structure
In general we thought it was wonderful, from the bungalow to the bars, pools, beach and restaurants. But there are points that need improvement, especially at Buffets. In these places they need more ventilation/air conditioning, as the employees sweat a lot and handling food becomes very unpleasant. Handling dishes and food waste away from the tables where we eat and taking greater care in cleaning up bird feces in the environment.

Themed dinners
We believe that these places also need ventilation/air conditioning to make it more pleasant and they need a more heated (chic) structure so that each dinner becomes something memorable for guests.

Resort Bracelet
The fabric bracelet causes discomfort as we are unable to take it off to sleep, the plastic clasp hurts the arm and it is constantly wet due to swimming pools, etc. The suggestion we leave is to make one with silicone material. It doesn't run the risk of breaking, it doesn't get wet, it doesn't hurt, you can take it off when you need it and it will have the same functions as the current one or it can even include the shopping function for trips just with the bracelet's chip. (Example bracelet from Hot Beach in Olimpia - SĂŁo Paulo)

Collaborators
What can I say about Sinaldo and Luciene, they were two of the best people we had the privilege of meeting on this trip. Incredible human beings with unique charisma. They wear the company shirt, the service is impeccable and left us with that feeling of being welcomed.
We also cannot fail to mention Luciane (SPA), who is cute, super competent and attentive. We loved meeting you and will carry you in our hearts.

We loved our stay, the Resort in sim very organized, clean, the staff itself, all super friendly and cordial! Check-in was super fast and quiet. Great food, drinks, ice beer all over the Resort with multiple options, beer lovers are at home! We dined at the pizzeria which by the way the pizzas are great and at the restaurant Alecrim, we love the food! The breakfast is good, a lot of bread variety, snacks on the beach although one person say that the Resort only serves CamarĂŁo and fried potatoes, it serves much more than that, it's just ask for the staff that they bring to you, however I found the beach service, a little slow by the amount of people that were at the Resort, from dinner very good food, ok variety and the very good desserts, it is worth noting the milk sweet pudding. The only thing I would say is, the rooms need a refinade, the room we stayed in, wing east room 111, despite having a great location the shower was kind of cluttered and the support of the bathtub was loose, for an elderly person, this, could get hurt while using the support, is the tip! Comfortable bed, bed linen and bath were good.
I would like to thank Joice who was our maid, the girls of Tapioca Dona Carmem the best tapioca I have ever eaten at a Resort and Bernardo from the pool bar, which has in particular a wonderful drink (of its autonomy, for those who like sweet drink), congratulations!

I was at the hotel many years ago and the quality remains. The service was excellent, all very helpful, attentive and quick. The place is very good for those who have reduced mobility or are wheelchairs because the accesses were facilitated or very well conducted - which left us quite peaceful, especially the transfer.
The hotel is very well taken care of (the chair room can be refined - we stayed without using the bag because the strong smell of decomposition in the outside area was unbearable).
The food is well made and well served, but the red meats were always very tough or nervous - except for the chef's filet mignon.
The only thing that disappointed me were the red wines, I only liked Codici (I don't consume white wine), I think the options could be of better quality and even less variety. I also suggest the inclusion of rosé wines (exclusive of themed restaurants) as they are refreshing for the day and an option for those who do not consume white wine.
Thank you!

I EXPECTED BETTER!
I consider Comandatuba a medium resort; I do not consider Premium as to Japaratinga / Salinas Maragogi / Iberostar Selection / Summervile / Grand Palladium (The Signature Level)

Negative points:
- Lack of disposable refrigerants in refrigerators, in all resorts they are served by waiters, as they are 2 liters and stay in a thermal box. Lunch and Dinner is difficult to pick up!
- Hot beer in its vast majority, I sincerely picked up 20% of my beers at ideal temperature. Breweries are missing due to the resort's demand.
- Food has time-consuming rest.
- Ice Cream is the main decoration of the resort, flavours are missing and is distributed in a single place generating long queues; Don't waste time the ice cream is pretty bad.
- Sea with a lot of living water (caravel), although not to blame the resort is a negative point.
- Lack of fruit options for Drinks
- Warm in the main restaurant, always use extra air conditioners to maintain a pleasant temperature, but without success.

Positive points:
- Location is very beautiful, a unique nature.
- Food and sweets are delicious.
- Totally exclusive resort, no external sellers.
- Many brands of beer, Ipa, Pilsen of various premium brands, Patagonia among others. (but they are hot!)
- Funcionarios are well trained and polite.
- Pools of good size with children's complex.
- Adult and child recreation.
- Outdoor sports, provavelmetne the best resort in Brazil with exterior extrusion (frames / fields / kayaking / Quadriciculo / Bicycles / among others)
- Academy.

Conclusion: It is worth knowing yes, as there is nothing similar in Brazil due to its natural beauty, but it would hardly return.

We would like to register our dissatisfaction with our recent stay at Hotel Transamérica Isla de Comandatuba. Several points were decisive for the awarded score, as detailed below:
1. Forbidden infinite edge pool: We were not warned in advance about the ban on this area. As we cherish silence and tranquility, we lack an equivalent alternative, as this is the only area without music or noise.
2. Undue reservations of loungers: Although the hotel has clear rules on not allowing the reservation of loungers and other spaces for more than 20 minutes without use, we found that many guests “reserved” places leaving towels and objects. The supervision of this practice was negligent, making it difficult to find available spaces.
3. Pool cleaning: The chemical cleaning takes place immediately after 18:00, while there are still guests in the pool. In a hotel of this level, this maintenance should be carried out during the night, ensuring greater safety and comfort for everyone.
4. State of Bangalore (0631): The bangalow had a mould smell, which was already unpleasant. In addition, I requested five times to change a lamp in the bathroom box, but no provision was taken. Furthermore, for two consecutive days, bath towels and even toilet paper were required, which I find unacceptable.
5. Cordiality of Food and Beverage (F&B) staff: Although respectful, most employees seemed unmotivated and unacceptable. In a hotel of this standard, a team is expected to serve with joy and show commitment to exceed the expectations of guests, which has not happened.
6. Food quality and healthy options: We understand that all-inclusive resorts offer varied menus, but we miss a season dedicated to healthier options. There was, for example, no protein yogurt, whole breads or quality granola. In addition, the delay to “heat the plate” at breakfast and snacks generated long queues, which is quite frustrating.

We emphasize, however, the joy and motivation of the recreation team, which has been constantly willing to keep the children busy and happy. This is undoubtedly a highlight and deserves recognition for the quality of the care provided.

We hope these observations are considered for improvements, as the experience lived was less than expected for a hotel with the reputation of the Transamerica Island of Comandatuba.

I will divide the evaluation into two parts, the good and the bad. The good parts are certainly the food and drinks, which are very plentiful and of good quality, and the number of leisure spaces available such as tennis courts, beach tennis, football fields and swimming pools. The bad parts are: 1) we found the pools very cold. It depends on everyone's taste, but from what we observed there weren't many people in the water despite the hotel being full, which perhaps proves our thesis. 2) the children's water park is limited to a simple water slide. Added to item 1 that I said previously, the children hardly even enjoyed the pools. 3) one day the pool towels were simply not available and remained that way almost the entire day, only arriving at the end of the day. This plus cold pool is a problem. 4) the room was only cleaned after 6pm on one day and after our complaint they said that they would be cleaning it early the next day. Well, the thing happened again the next day. In short: the experience was great, but these mistakes remain as points of attention for the hotel, which for a hotel of its category and price should not happen. These are small points that weigh heavily in my opinion on a possible future return.

The resort has an excellent all-inclusive service, but we noticed a discreet drop in quality compared to March 2023. Some areas require more care, such as the rooms, game room and games. The service is almost always very good, with a few exceptions.
The location is perfect and guarantees a lot of safety and tranquility. The beach is really private and good for diving, with saves lives always attentive. The sea is not crystal clear. The resort is very safe for children, conveying tranquility to the families. There are many leisure and sports activities available, some are not interesting generating little adherence. The drinks offered in the all-inclusive are of great quality and the meal offer is very wide. In this latter aspect we notice a slight decline in quality.
We really liked the stay and intend to come back eventually.

My stay at Hotel Ilha de Comandatuba was truly spectacular! What really stood out to me was the incredible recreation provided for the teens. I'm a teenager and I was excited about the planned activities and made lots of new friends. The recreation team is professional and attentive, providing a fun and safe experience for young people.

Furthermore, the ambiance of the hotel is simply stunning. The island is a tropical paradise, with white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. The well-kept gardens and lush vegetation create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It's the perfect place to disconnect from the stress of everyday life and enjoy nature.

The accommodation and service are also worthy of praise. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, and the hotel staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The cuisine is delicious, offering a variety of local and international dishes.

Overall, my experience at Hotel Ilha de Comandatuba was incredible, thanks to the exceptional recreation for teenagers and the paradisiacal environment. I can't wait to go back and create more unforgettable memories. I recommend this destination to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Beautiful place, very good hotel!! Very good food and extremely polite staff!!
Italian and seafood restaurants are well worth it. And the normal restaurants leave nothing to be desired.
In the rooms the beds are very large and the mattresses are soft.
Room cleaning is very good and done regularly, replacing everything that is missing.
Fun every day at night, alternating with live music and theme nights.
For children, the hotel has many recreational options.

Excellent food and drinks. Exceptional beach without walkers, clean and with nature prepared to receive your ohar. The sea is a little upset, but every attention of the saves lives with the people. The rooms need better preservation. Box door, a bit clamped and bathroom arrangement with bidet without need, since there is a toilet shower. Cleaning of the rooms and bar fridge with drinks at your disposal, Lack a coffee maker or water for a coffee or tea in the room. I found in the bed the presence of an insect (Cascutinho or Poto) that the first night was worth a bite, with its poison or acid (maybe I tightened it, but should not be in my bed). This shouldn't happen in a resort. The location of my room must have favored (394), the visit, but every night we found the insect in my bed. Even after the team's effort. Although cleaning with alcohol on the floor did not prevent their entry. I recommend you study a way to take better care of the rooms near the coconut
