We were here for only 1 night after visiting Plitvice National park. Our room was big and airy and Marko M provided wonderful and attentive service beyond no other than I've ever experienced. He arranged dinner reservations for our large family and the breakfast buffet was delicious. He ran around graciously to find us an opener for our wine in the room and helped me with a leaking olive oil bottle.

Experienced a thoroughly enjoyable 3 night stay in early May while visiting the incredible Plitvice Lakes National Park. The location couldn’t be more perfect. The setting was simply beautiful with plum trees around the beautiful pool, (still to cool for swimming but ready to go) rolling green forested mountains around and only a short 1.5km to the park entrance. So peaceful yet close to the action.

The hotel, while not a five-star hotel, (a solid 4) was a 5-star experience. The hotel and property are beautiful and complete with two restaurants on property. The main (fine dining room) overlooked the pool and trees and was beautifully appointed and appropriate for a national park nature setting. And the food was great. I had dinner there every evening and their buffet breakfast was very good and complete. The other restaurant is much larger and across the parking lot and offered casual dining and a more varied menu from burgers and sandwiches to ribs and steaks.

The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. Wood floors and a semi rustic look which made me feel like I was definitely in a nature setting. Comfortable beds, great shower and nothing to fault. Including the price, which was very reasonable especially considering the location.

But the big plus was the staff, and by that I mean ALL the staff. From the check-in at the front desk, thru restaurant, and housekeeping. The front desk agent really was helpful in tuning me into some great hikes just outside the park (it was too late for me to begin an inside park hike on arrival day), so I could maximize my time at Plitvice and get some great photography in from the start. He also had helpful park maps and saved me a lot of time the following days since all I needed to do was pay entrance fee and off I went. Needless to say the park is stunning and other worldly, but that will be the subject of a park review.

The hotel is located on the main road, just a few kilometers from the Plitvice Lakes, but it is surprisingly peaceful and relaxing. It has its own parking, good restaurant and nice swimming pool. It is a perfect place, not only for visiting the Lakes, but to explore the rest of the county while having a comfortable vacation.
The room is spacious, with excellent bed and nice working table for your electronic devices. The bathroom is huge, well-organized and filled with various amenities. We were especially enjoying the relaxing swimming pool with lot of sunbeds, deck chairs and sunshades, while drinking excellent cocktails from the bar.
Breakfast was very good and the service staff is really helpful and friendly. But, the most fascinating thing for me was the passion and attention to maintain the surrounding area of the hotel, with perfectly cut grass, lot of flowers and nice walking paths connecting all structures of the complex. We had a wonderful time and will hopefully come back very soon!

Very pleasant stay in this family run hotel for two nights while visiting the National Park. The Park is awesome and it was so hot after the 8km hike that having a pool at the hotel was wonderful to come back to. The pool is set in the garden and has plenty of sunbeds along with a water jet.

We are both nights at the main restaurant set in the adjacent building which was good. Good for vegetarians; not so good for our vegan daughter but that's not unusual and she still had a good meal. Breakfast was served in the smaller Plum bistro in the main hotel block and offered a small buffet with hot and cold choices. They had everything we wanted.

The two rooms we had were large and spacious with everything we needed and both had aircon. We had a suite I think (31) as we had a bedroom plus lounge area. Our daughters shared a large room with extra bed.

We were close to the park, approximately no more than 10 mins in a taxi, and we also found quad biking close by which we did the following day. We'd all have been happy to stay longer here.

We debated whether to stay here or at one of the hotels in the National Park. We finallly decided to stay here and it was the right choice. The hotel has the perfect combination of acceptable accomodations, good food, and location without all the crowds at the national park.

After a long drive, our check-in to the hotel was pleasant and welcoming. The hotel was acomodating to let us open a bottle of wine we bought at an outside winery and drink it at their beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the mountains.

Per our email request, the hotel had booked our reservation at the next door restaurant and the food was very good.

Breakfast was good with a variety of baked goods and cooked options (eggs, bacon).

We were pleased that we stayed here instead of the less personal national park accomodation.

The hotel is well maintained, clean with friendly helpful staff. The pool swim and drinks was a welcome opportunity to cool off after a full day is exploring Plivitce National Park. We had dinner in both the fine dining restaurant on site and the casual very popular restaurant close by. In both cases staff of the hotel helped with bookings and advice. We stayed in a room with an outdoor spa tub which would be perfect also in cooler months.

This is a perfect hotel to stay a couple of days to visit the Lakes and to enjoy this beautiful part of Croatia. It is very visible that this hotel is in a permanent process of upgrading , all from an excellent quality and well maintained including a nice swimming pool where you can enjoy excellent cocktails. There are different type of rooms but all offering a very fair price/quality ratio. They are 2 restaurants ; a bigger one and a smaller one, Bistro Plum. Both are offering good options for dinner. Plum strives for more finesse, with for instance excellent desserts. Service is fluid and friendly. The breakfast buffet is basic but excellent for the moderate amount of 10 Euro.As in the rest of Croatia the classical cafe creme is not available.Large parking. Also offering outdoor activities including the rent of mountainbikes.

We have chosen this hotel because it is not far from Plitvice and it has all the amenities we needed. The room was spacious and it offered a Tv, a minibar, a safe, bathrobes, A/C, wifi. The hotel is offering free parking on their grounds which was a must for us, we were travelling by car. We have stayed for 2 nights in order to spend one full day in the park. The only downside was the breakfast which was poor and quality of food was average. There is also the restaurant of the hotel nearby that you should try in the evening. I have tried the trout and the pork steak and both dishes were quite good. Reservation is necessary during summer time. If you have time and love biking, there is a center of bike rentals. Within walking distance from the hotel there is a supermarket from where you can buy snacks, fruits and refreshing drinks.

This was one of our our favorite hotels during our 2-week holiday in Croatia. The location serves as a great base to the Plitvice Lakes. The rooms were so comfortable and clean, with attention to details such as USB charging, easy to reach light switches, and rainforest shower. The kids enjoyed the pool, with bar service for adults! The included breakfast was delicious with very attentive wait staff.

Stayed here for 3 nights back in September 2019 and had a wonderful time. Rooms were of a good size with views across the landscape. Breakfasts was a buffet with a good variety and the adjoining restaurant for dinner was superb, but you definitely need to book as there was a queue out the door! Pool was a bit on the chilly side but perfect on a scorching day. Very close proximity to the national park, took 5-10 minutes by taxi. We were also able to hire bikes from the hotel to explore the country side which was an added bonus! I'd also recommend the linked Dejinija tours, we did a fantastic rafting experience day with them and also had a long transfer to split by car which was very comfortable. All 10/10, would highly recommend, especially the poolside cocktails!

Breakfast starts at 7:00, as I recall. The trails in the park are mostly in the shade so you do not really have to make an early start because of weather. Enjoy your visit, the park is spectacular,
