The staff was very friendly and helpful. Get to know them. They will help make your stay more enjoyable. A big thanks to Gilbert and the rest of the pool bar and kitchen staff. The food was fantastic and it was nice to learn more about Puerto Rico and the local area from them.

my family (mom, sister, and aunt) stayed there for 4 days and it was perfect! I dont like super touristy hotel/resorts, and i think we were the only gringos there for the first 2 days. standard 2 queen bed hotel rooms, mini-fridge, nice ocean view balcony overlooking the pool

Wow, what a wonderful setting and delightful pool, this could be one of the classiest resorts in Puerto Rico. We loved the outdoor spaces and beach. Watching the sunsets and the pelicans dive for their evening catch. What a treat, almost enough to forget the room that we would

After checking into the hotel from a long flight and drive, I noticed there was blood on a pillow. I called the front desk and told them about it and was wondering why nobody noticed it when they made up the room before I arrived? Really? Never again. Did not even get offered

Four of us went to this hotel in January 2019 for 3 days and 2 nights. The hotel was amazing, very clean, right on the ocean and the staff were so friendly. The views of the ocean was beautiful. Very close to town where a lot of shops and eateries are.

Very Nice. Lovely sunset
If you are asking if there is you can find good surfing on the beach that the resort is located, the answer is not. However, Rincon’s surfing beaches are not far away. Only a few minutes drive. Tres Palmas, Sandy Beach and Domes are all at a short distance. Another option is Puntas,by the Tamboo Restaurant. You can find public parking and walk the beach for the right spot. The beach in front of Puntas Del Mar Resort is also very good. To get there you may walk the beach from The Tamboo. I hope this helps!

Rincon of the seas is much better in almost every way than Villa Cofresi, although the one shining light of Villa Cofresi is the "pirata" drink they make at the bar. You must try it, but anyone can come and eat and drink at their hotel no matter where you stay.

Are there work out facilities?
No workout facility! In Rincón I go for long walks on the beach! Surfing is a great workout...if you don’t know how to surf, I strongly suggest hiring an instructor and taking some classes...great scuba diving and snorkeling! Enjoy being outdoors!

I don't recall seeing a gym..but there might have been one..all the rooms circle around the pool and face the water. Some are closet than others. I think the garden view rooms are on the lower floor..level with the pool. We stayed in adjoin rooms on the third floor n had a lovely view.

No - not all rooms have ocean views - most would have a garden view - keep in mind this hotel has really no beach left any more. There is a pool and a bit of beach to walk on close to the hotel but if you've been there before you will be suprised to see that the beach has been washed away.
