After reading reviews I went to the Commodore with low expectations & was more than pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the Annexe with our beagle in room 24 on the 22/01/2017. The room was really lovely, cosy & warm upon arrival & having read about "doggy" smells, the entrance to the annexe & our room smelt lovely so maybe the...

Went there today , Service was very poor , staff didn't cares. women in a pink top was very rude ,"wat do you want" instead of asking politely. No manners although food was good , average and expensive. Would not come again sadly though food was good. Let down by service and staffing levels were not great. Disappointed and shameful

Lovely view out on to the estuary. Rooms very dated and in need of a full revamp. Having said that they were still clean. Lovely friendly staff. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty of choice. Would go back.

Shabby, dirty, neglected, cold, overpriced.... I'm at a loss at how places like this manage to stay in business. Staff not unfriendly, merely Indifferent. In quite a nice spot for WSM with lots of potential but needs serious investment and lots of TLC. Dreadful as it stands.

Got £10 off booking through late rooms, but even so it was still overpriced for the room. Very run down decor, mould, dust and cobwebs in bathroom and faded/old furnishings. Walls paper thin & could hear every word from adjoining rooms. As it was a bank holiday there was no staff around to request a room change & no-one on...

On Saturday the 3rd December some JD's from our JD GROUPS WSM 1 & 3 enjoyed a Good night at The Commodore. Dave Ford has an amazing voice and kept us thoroughly entertained. JD's danced the night away, not bad for ladies of a certain age!!! A BIG JD thankyou to The Commodore for your friendly and efficient service.

The hotel is quite tucked away but well-located near the sand dunes of the Severn Estuary with views across to Wales. It relies a lot on weddings, and the bar also acts as a pleasant local pub for the area. We chose to stay there because we needed dog-friendly accommodation. We received a pleasant-enough welcome although it soon launched into...

Have been here many times but unfortunately it seems to be going downhill a bit. The entertainment leaves a lot to be desired. Much much too loud, you cannot hear yourself think and holding a conversation is absolutely impossible. The food was not very tasty and only lukewarm, so I was not impressed. Most of our party left as zoon...
