The whole place was in terrible need of a facelift. In the reception area there was a most unpleasant smell of what could be described as blocked toilets. Extremely tired and tatty. We booked a double room for one night. We were given a family room with a double bed and a single bed. In there was a small dressing...

After remembering the sign that this hotel/bar was dog friendly my family (x5 adults) stopped on the way home from Devon to stretch our legs and get some food and drink. We arrived 2.25pm and got settled at a table just after 2.30pm. The sign outside says "serves food all day" -perfect as I was with my 87 year old...

Lovely setting and mega helpful staff.A bit shocked by £3.20 for a pint of Coca cola!!! Doesn't really help to combat drink driving. Can anyone beat this outside of London? Its no wonder people stay in and drink at home

Stayed here one night whilst some work was being done to my flat. The room was tired and dated ( particularly the bathroom ) but the most important thing - the bed - was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. So overall I would recommend this for a reasonably priced overnight stay. I didn't eat...

I was here for a second time for a business stay, I did request not to stay here as my previous stay was not pleasant as the room was very dated and dirty, my concerns were passed on so on this occasion I was given room 312 which looked a lot more fresh and modern, sadly the room only has...

You couldn't ask for closer access to the beach. Simply cross the road and you will find yourself nestled amongst the dunes with a stunning view of the beach stretched out in front. You can even get a lovely view of the old WSM pier in the distance to the left, which looks gorgeous at sun set. For any walkers...

The large signage outside inform you that the restaurant is dog friendly and serves food all day (11.30 to 21.30 ). After taking our dog for a good run on the local beach, my wife and I were ready for a meal, as we had not eaten since breakfast. About 15.15 we went in with our dog and were about...

Very limited menu, although 2 for £12 meals is a good bargain. I had the small carvery, which was a good sized portion. Meats offered where beef or turkey, the turkey was a turkey joint not a turkey. The beef was tender but way over cooked. The veg was soggy roasts, unwashed carrots, some sort of leek thing ? Not...

We booked this hotel then read the reviews - maybe the wrong way round? We read about the slightly tatty comments and the staff, when we got there on a sunday afternoon greeted with a nice friendly receptionist who took us up to our rooms - great service, the walls freshly painted, newish curtains (which didn't meet in the middle)...

Just returned after break over Easter staying Friday to Monday. Booked a double room, a little disappointed on the room and the reason for this is because the room had double and single beds in the room. The room in my opinion was too small for the single bed as both my husband and myself were literally falling over ourselves...
