Wonderful place. Berta is the best host!! We enjoyed our stay our room had a great balcony to relax at end of day. Berta's was an awesome host she helped planning our wine tours and dinners. I would go back and would recommend any traveler to la Rojas stay here.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay. One of the best nights sleep I had during my trip. The rooms were comfortable. The lounge was welcoming, and the owners were helpful. The town itself was very relaxing and quite. We will stay again and longer on our next trip to Spain.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. From the moment our booking was Confirmed we knew we were in good hands! We were emailed with options of excursions close by which was a lovely touch. We pulled into the beautiful village and fell in love with the place. Our host was fantastic and welcoming providing us with so...

We thought this the most lovely place to stay .The owners are so friendly and helpful without being in any way intrusive. The village is peaceful and unspoiled and close to Haro the centre for bodegas in the Rioja area.

One of the most elegant, characterful places I've stayed. The room was very spacious and beautifully furnished. The bathroom was particularly lovely, with a deep copper sink and ornate mirror. We felt very privileged to stay in such a beautiful house and the owners were extremely welcoming. Breakfasts were elegant and tasty and I just wish I knew how the chap...

Large room (suite with balcony, top floor) in this clean, wonderful small hotel. Hosts are super full of suggestions (in English) for touring and restaurants. The little town of Sajazarra a charming place to stay as a base for daily wine/history excursions in the area.

What a Gem. This was a lucky find en route from Portugal to France. Very quiet village and a lovely comfortable small hotel. The owners were very welcoming and most helpful. They sell local Rioja wine of good quality, at reasonable prices. Would stay again if in the area. The village restaurant is also very good!!

The reviews in TripAdvisor and other sites helped us decide to stay in this place rather than in Haro or Logroño and we are happy we made this decision. The Posada is beautifully decorated with antiques and was comfortable throughout our 3 night stay. Berta had plenty of tourist information on hand and many helpful recommendations for bodegas to visit...

First visit to this ancient walled village. First impressions on arriving we that we were so lucky to have chosen this location for our overnight stay. The posada is owned by a lovely couple who made us most welcome on arrival. Room was traditional Spanish with unusual vaulted ceiling. Interesting artifacts throughout the property. A great deal of character. We...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are located at the heart of Rioja Alta, at 10km from Haro, the wine capital, and known as the place where it can be located the largest concentration of ancient wineries of Europe and all over the world. Nineteenth century mansion house, which once also served as an inn. They retain the first and second floor, they have been restored. The second floor is newly built. We have tried everything possible to keep original aesthetics of the house door, mangers, portal and block (now living room). We have 8 double rooms, counting all of them with bathroom and TV, and charmingly decorated, using antiques that give a very special decoration. It has a cozy courtyard, sheltered by the old stone façade of the house. ... more   less
