We stayied at this lovely and local (owned by the community) for one night but could have stayied much longer there. The rooms are very clean and quiet. You even have a heater in the room in the case you're feeling cold. The local people are very friendly and if you have any question, they help you and try to...

In March 2016 I visited with a school group from Canada. We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the servings were a reasonable size though smaller than what you may be used to seeing in an American or Canadian restaurant. The fresh juices were particularly memorable. We really enjoyed hiking in the area and learning about the flora...

Casa Condor is a communal Quechua Hostal. Sitting at 3900 m on the foothills of Chimborazo it is an ideal place to acclimatize and take in the local culture. The food is traditional cooking. It is filling and delicious. The rooms are comfortable and we even had warm water. A rarity in this area. By staying here, you are helping...

I was part of a school trip where we stayed at Casa Condor, and all I can say is wow. The community and food was incredible, the tours, hikes, and local culture were absolutely impressive. The only complaint I can make is that I didn't grab any food on the way out!

We booked our stay via Julioverne in connection with a trek to a little polylepis forest uphills of the village. Guest rooms and toilets were clean, we hat newly washed blankets and even a towel each. The bedcovers were sufficiently warm in the unheated room. They have 3 rooms with two separate beds each, one with a matrimonial. Our Julioverne...

We found Casa Condor through the guidebooks, getting in touch was very difficult but we found someone down in Chimberazo who knew someone who knew someone who contacted them via radio. We were told they would cook for us etc and do tours etc etc. When we arrived a member of the small community came and asked us to pay...
