Poor quality of the food. Starter Iberian ham pata negra was good. The house wine was just wine. Main course was as close to disaster as possible, they splited the pork sirloin and fried it to the drieness like the bottom of a shoe, frenchfries...More
Nice hotel, great location with amazing views (I would say astonishingly views), only for that can pay money! Of course rooms with view cost bit more then normal standard. Inside basic/old style room, nothing special but clean. Staff very pleasant. Has restaurant with terrace. Recommend...More
One of the highlights of our trip. First of all, the staff was outstanding. Attentive and accommodating. The best we experienced on our trip. We asked for a room with a view of the gorge when we booked and we not only had a view...More
My husband and I booked into this hotel as a walk in off the street and were really pleased with our large room and the fantastic views from our windows directly over the gorge. The facilities were a little out dated but everything was in...More
but the rooms are very small. Spotlessly clean though and good showers in the bathrooms. Hairdryers very poor, better to go buy one in town or bring your own. Breakfast looked very disorganised much more choice and cheaper in town.

We arrived and were asked if we wanted to change our room to one with a canyon view. It was more money, but well worth it, since we were only staying two nights, out of a three week trip. The word "Superior" was not mentioned, but it may be part of the Expedia reservation verbiage. Breakfast was included in the room price. The breakfast did not include hot items, but eating it on the terrace overlooking the gorge was wonderful. The hotel is close to the "New Bridge" which was built in the fifteenth century.
