We stayed in one of the new interior rooms for 1 night. It was large, modern and minimalist. The shower was good. As there was no window the room was dark in the night (there was a nightlight). There were plenty of lights, heating & a/c. 2 comfortable chairs & modern TV. No WiFi in the room as it was in the next road to main hotel. Good value for money at €62. The main hotel terraces are the best for viewing the bridge, better than the parador! We parked in the hotel carpark at €15 per day which was reasonable as there is no free parking nearby and we were able to go in & out during the day.
What a perfect position, the views from the room must be the best in Ronda, the staff where very friendly and helpful, the room was clean but functional would have been nice to have English spoken channel on TV,the view from room was amazing, another plus I could park my new car in hotel garage, the only minus to our stay the breakfast was pathetic bread rolls and cheese no cereal no fruit no yoghurt very poor. So to summarise lovely hotel, shame about breakfast.
Very good place, big clean rooms, comfortable and large beds, big bathroom and shower, the room is very silent thanks to the windows even if the street below is noisy. Good location also. Highly recommended.
I booked the room based on the view and the price. we had room 208, the view from our terrace was amazing. If I am honest I do not believe the parador could match the view. The room was large and spacious as was the bathroom, we had a triple aspect view two overlooking the bridge and the canyon, the bathroom over looked the square. From the terrace the view were 180 The hotel was clean and the staff excellent. I like to try and speak Spanish, however the reception desk was fluent in English. There is a restaurant under the hotel, I wanted to put my meal on the room bill, but apparently they are not connected in that way. We ate in the restaurant, the food and view was excellent, I could not see another restaurant with a better view, there is also a bar below again same views. The location of the hotel is also brilliant really central for old and new town. I did not ask about parking, however this was not easy, but as I had not checked before that is my fault Tip, the hotel does appear to have rooms in a side street around the corner, this might be worth checking if you are booking…
I almost scream when I opened the big window in my room. Hotel Don Miguel perched on top and on the edge of the El Tajo Canyon. The location is indisputable -the best in Ronda. There's nowhere else in the whole town that you could get a better view of the whole gorge and bridge and the deep river creek. The only way was to get inside one of this hotel room. I was so glad that I had 3 nights here. It takes 6 minutes by taxi from train station (7 euro). You'll need to walk the last 100 metres because of the narrow streets. Or, you pay more so the driver would drive a circle take you to the front door of the hotel. The front desk staff speak very good English. Francisco, Chinne, Clara were all friendly and very helpful. The building was a little old and quirky, the restaurant staff might not be the warmest. But, once you get into your room -Wow! The stunning view overrides everything. (my photos can not justify the view out of my window)…
