We stayed here for three nights.Location was lovely but it was misrepresented as having many services! Check in took an hour, friends waited 1.5 hours for a drink on arrival, restaurant was shut for lunch and dinner on arrival, there was no cafe or bar, and there were several Health and Safety issues. No one except the young man on reception was on duty and he left at 11.30 leaving guests with an emergency number. We would not have booked if we had known this as it felt unsafe on a vineyard in a remote location in high summer , fire risks among others as we were in a gated area . Wifi is in public areas only not everywhere. If you book an apartment there is none, you are down a steep unlit slope apart from main building. We had to make multiple visits to Ronda to get lunch or dinner at 20 euros each way which we had not budgeted for as during our stay restaurant was only open for breakfast which was quite limited in choice. We had to ask for the free vineyard tour which was given by the you man on the desk who turned out to be a very capable student working there for summer.Likewise the wine tasting was done by him when we requested it,Not what we expected at all or what hotel purports to offer.Misrepresentation of services . Health and safety issues were worrying. Our terrace door was falling off its hinges dangerously and broken furniture was left on the nice looking hotel terrace, chairs and a table .The same lack of care for customer satisfaction and safety existed when we emailed the manager after our visit expressing concerns and asking for a comment before we wrote on Trip Advisor.A great shame as hotel is in a lovely location and grounds are well kept and rooms are kept clean.(No soap however as another reviewer has remarked.) Would never revisit or recommend.…
Stayed 2 nights here last week and really wished we had gone elsewhere. When we arrived the young guy at reception took an hour to book us in. He didn’t seem to know what he was doing and he kept getting distracted by texting on his phone. It was so unprofessional. Eventually we were shown to a room which in principle looked good until the pump house next door started going. The noise was loud and sporadic, at times going in the middle of the night and waking us up. The bed itself was tired and uncomfortable, which didn’t help either. There was no soap in the bathroom, and when we asked for some, we were told it was the liquid in the little plastic bottles marked shampoo/body soap. The shower, which was in a bath, was hopeless with the water running hot, then cold, then hot etc. The bath towels were thread bare. It really was appalling. On the plus side, the hotel grounds were really nice with an excellent swimming pool. Again the provided towels were cheap and nasty. Ronda was lovely, but if we ever go back, we will avoid this hotel. …
We arrived little early, before our room was ready. So sat on the patio with a glass of their “Luneres” red wine which was a very nice glass of wine. The pool area is very pleasant too. We’ve been to Ronda a couple of times before and were happy to relax here rather than using it as a base. The restaurant was disappointingly quite, but the food, wine and service could not be faulted. We’re on our way to Cadiz tomorrow but may well return for another day/evening on our way home.
We have just returned from a short stay at this hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel rooms are modern and spotlessly clean. It is a small hotel on a vineyard with some beautiful grounds and a nice outside pool . The views are amazing from the terrace. We experienced a wine tasting with a fabulous 4 course meal which I would highly recommend. If you like your wine and would like a quiet break you should give the hotel a go. The hotel is just a 5 min drive into Ronda
This hotel is a great little find if you're travelling in Ronda, there's not a lot around there so it is very peaceful. Rooms clean and very nice, pool lovely (though we didn't go in as too cold), first impressions were very good. The hotel was very quiet and we barely saw any other guests. In the morning my parents went for breakfast and said that it wasn't particularly great. There was a bar but it wasn't open so you had to go and find the receptionist if you wanted a coffee or drink but in general they were happy to help. The hotel offered for us to view the vineyards but they didn't make any further effort regarding the vineyard which we thought was a shame. There was a bottle of wine in each room which we initially thought was free however it was 14 Euros which is quite a lot of money for a bottle of wine in Spain. It would have been nice if the hotel would offer a free wine tasting or bottle per stay which wouldn't cost them a lot. Generally a nice little hotel for a short stay but lacks a bit of luxury for a longer stay.…
