Wonderful 4 star hotel with all the equipment but with the charm and flavour of a rural "cortijo" (tipical spanish mannor). The staff was friendly and helpful and the locations and the view were magical

Fantastic setting, surrounded by mountains and with views along the lake to the wonderful village of Zahara. We stayed in January, which wasn't ideal for a hotel which aims at the outdoor activity market. However, good rooms and helpful staff. p.s. the bullring is at the side of the hotel

First stay of our holiday touring Spain. Flew in to Malaga, picked up a car and straight to Ronda and this hotel. We only booked for 1 night - what a mistake to make! It was wonderful. Beautiful room, huge terrace and a view to die for. Hotel is on the outskirts of Ronda and out in the countryside, but still close to the town. We should have made this the last hotel of our trip and stayed for some days - what a lovely way to wind down and relax for the last few days of the holiday. Restaurants in the district abound and loads of places to eat. The hotel has its own bull ring - now dis-used but fascinating to see. You can also see behind the scenes where the bulls were kept before going into the ring. Nice pool and loads of seating areas. Good breakfast in the morning. Will return here when next in Andalusia.

Room Tip: I think all rooms have a fabulous view over the countryside.

This hotel is perfectly situated for a quiet relaxed stay. The setting is beautiful, with various sitting areas, a small pool and a old bullring which was special to see. Our room was spacious, clean with a huge terrace which overlooked the lake. Evening meal was good, which appeared to be cooked from local produce. Breakfast provided a good choice. The staff are friendly and helpful. It was a relaxed stay and I would certainly return.

What a wonderful hotel. Stunning views and so quiet - feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but actually quite close to the Ronda-Seville road, so good for touring the region. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful - and the food is not bad either! Wide choice for breakfast and the dinners we did eat in the restaurant were very, very good. The room was spacious and clean with a very large terrace overlooking the lake and mountains giving a perfect view of the sunsets. Only (very) slight issue was there were no drink making facilities in the room. Still - we will be back!
