Detailed Reviews
I am writing this review, so that other travelers are aware. Due to Covid
1. Do not expect maid service of any type. You have to request towels, and linens if you want a change of linens.
2. You will have to remove your trash from your room and dispose in the the large trash cans in the breezeways.
3. The cleaning standard needs more details, there was long black hairs everywhere. None of which belong to myself or my husband.
4. We had ants on the counters the entire we were there. It was reported and apparently they did nothing about it.
5. None of the restaurants open before 10am.
The room was nicely appointed, but we were very disappointed not to have services that you normally expect.

Stayed at Limetree first week of August2021. Loved this resort , all rooms are beachfront with balcony . Our room was a one bedroom with pull out couch, 1 1/2 bath with kitchen. Room #270 The room was very clean and newly renovated. No maid service but clean towels , Beach towels and toilet paper were delivered very quickly . The pool area was very nice with a beach bar open 11-7 every day. The food here was very good and reasonable. We liked the club sandwich, turkey pesto, quesadillas ! The beach was great and never crowded. No seaweed but there were rocks to get over to get in to swim (but doable) The resort is about 10 mins from Charlotte Amalie and 15 mins from Red Hook with cab rides averaging about $10PP each way. We had a jeep so we went to Kmart to get water , liquor, snacks etc. There are 2 other restaurants on site-Lanai which is good and you can also get takeout . Dentons is the steakhouse and we enjoyed the wedge salad and filet there Would definitely recommend Limetree for a relaxing vacation in paradise🌴😎

The resort is newly upgraded and has a beautiful beach. It’s designed to have amazing views no matter where you are. The staff were all wonderful, especially Gina at the pool bar. The restaurant (Lanai) was awesome. Every meal was great and there’s plenty of vegetarian options. We did not rent a car, but did not have trouble getting cabs. You can’t walk anywhere from this resort. The beach does have a rocky entrance. The snorkeling is good. I heard they have plans to bring sand over the rocks, which would make this place perfect. I would stay here again, especially after seeing other resorts on the island. The southern location here blocks a lot of the wind (it gets very windy here!).

We went to this Club Wyndham property thanks to my sister who owns 2 timeshares on St. Thomas. They were both part of Bluebeards Castle and we stayed at what was they're beach club prior to Hurricane Irma which damaged the resort.
Wyndham restored the property and the job they did was great. The resort is just stunning. We were right on the beach and the grounds are impeccable and the pool area is large with seating around the pool or just above the beach on the grass or in the 3 or 4 open air cabanas.
As for the room. We stayed in a 1 BR studio with a king bed that looked like it was recently renovated. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for what cooking we did in the room.
The only negative opinion I have doesn't reach the level of lowering the overall review score. We had no cell service at the resort. Once we drove closer to town the service resumed.
The restaurants at the resort were very good. Lanai's was the main restaurant and Denton a Steakhouse was the other.borh had excellent food and the Ribeye at Denton's was amazing.
Overall our trip was just a great getaway to a place where time just ground to a halt. We rented a SUV and I'm so glad we did. We saved so much money avoiding taxi's cost and wait times and we were able to go anywhere we wanted when we wanted. A real game changer.

If you are seeking serenity, romance or just a quite environment, this is the place! The grounds and pool area are well maintained. Although there were other guest in the rooms adjacent to ours, we didn’t hear them when we were in our room. We started with a 1 bedroom with 1 and ½ baths. It was clean and tastefully decorated. We had plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. On our third day we were moved to a studio loft, but it was adequate for the 2 of us. We rented a jeep and there was adequate parking.
We stayed for 10 days and the experience was 5 star from beginning to end. We were greeted on arrival by Tiffany who was kind and professional. She was eager to assist us with our needs and request. When there was a water leak and electrical issue our third day, she was instrumental in getting us moved quickly to another room. Drew, the maintenance man was quick to respond and evaluated the situation. Pamela was our concierge and she is awesome! She really knows her stuff and the island. We ate at the Lanai restaurant where we had excellent service and the food was good, but a little over priced. Johnathan and Chari were helpful in answering our questions about the food and the island. Because I have food allergies, we purchased food from Cost-U-Less and prepared our own meals most of our stay. We were so busy with excursions that we only went to the pool one evening. It was quite and an inviting temperature. There were only a few other people there.
The beach the first 5 days was pristine white with gentle rolling waves in the bay. There are some rocks on the left side of the beach as you enter the ocean but none on the right. Because there were multiple tropical storms brewing, the seaweed did roll in on day 5 and the water became choppy and murky. The staff worked hard to remove it, but there was so much they didn’t remove it all. Because we rarely visited the beach, the seaweed didn’t bother us. The day before our departure, the ocean calmed.
In summary, we plan to return to St. Thomas and when we do we will stay at the Limetree Beach Resort again. It is a beautiful resort!

We enjoyed our time at Limetree Beach Resort. The pool area is nice and the swim up bar is fun. The beach itself is subpar to others on the island, it's smaller and the water is quite rocky (bring watershoes), but there is some decent snorkeling. Restaurant was good and it's nice they have a snack shack on the property. The room was very average, older amenities. We really liked their texting service that you use to request new towels and such, it made that whole process super easy. Definitely rent a car to stay here as there is nothing within walking distance of the resort.

After a 4 year wait and $40 million, The new Limetree beach club is amazing. We own a 1 BR which has been reconfigured with more closet space, new kitchen and bath and everything else. The new hurricane resistant sliding door to the patio weighs a lot, put your back into it..... New swimming pool is the same configuration as the old one but with an infinity edge. Pool bar is new, very efficient with distancing in place. Pool menu is wonderful with nachos, wraps and sandwiches which are prepared in the kitchen of the new store. The store recently open and a must see; wine and beer, fresh, home made tuna and chic salad etc, Bore's Head meats cut to order, etc. etc. The new Aquamarine Dive shop attached to the store is the best dive/snorkeling operation on the island........ 2 restaurants are superb. Enjoy one of the best resorts on St. Thomas.

We enjoyed our stay at the Limetree. My daughter basically lived at the pool and the adults enjoyed the swim up bar. The bartenders were amazing. It is a quiet resort mainly with families and older adults. The view from the rooms was amazing and there is a pretty, uncrowded beach. There is an amazing dive shop on premises.
The reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because of the food situation. It is in a food desert with no food until 11 am. There is a small market on site and we made breakfast in our rooms. The two restaurants are good but there are very long waits at dinner. We were sold on a sunset cruise by the concierge that was a party boat so we bailed.
Aside from all that, the place was beautiful and the staff (outside of Lanai) were amazing. We would come back again.

We checked in and were told a golf cart would come and get us and our luggage and take us to the room 45 minutes later we still had not been picked up so 15 more minutes someone shows up but the manager tells him to get off the golf cart. He drives us to our room. He tells us the guy was too high to drive. Each time after that when we asked to be picked up by the golf cart they were either very late like an hour or just never showed up. The rooms were not anything great they were not very clean or decorated well. The bed was comfortable . Not stocked well, but did have coffee cups and an old leaking coffee maker did not have a coffee machine that took coffee pods. There is only one restaurant on the resort it is very expensive the service is hit or miss. One evening we went there for dinner ordered our food however it never came. An hour later we got up and left the food I did get there was nothing special . There is a very small grocery store but the hours are

Oh my goodness, sorry to miss the question. Hope it’s not too late. The Limetree is landlocked, so you are a happy captive. Shared taxis are $10 or so per person down to the city proper and $10 back. Lots of mid priced places to eat.
The 3rd party restaurant on site used to be one of the best places to eat, my last trip saw new owners and a dramatic decline in service and quality. Dinners are probably 25 to 45 per person once all is said and done.
The little market is fine for simple lunches. I buy a dozen eggs and make breakfast for two for six days.
I’ll be there next week and have an update for you.
Normally till 9pm or 10pm. On rare occasion, they fill up... perhaps call in advance and make a reservation, the previous management took advance bookings.
Pay at the restaurant. No room charged.
