Relaxing holiday🫶 We had the most amazing holiday after so long break🤍 The location of the hotel is amazing, beautiful beach with a clear water. We had a Sapphire Retreat with outstanding sea view, we really enjoyed having a glass of wine on our balcony. The most incredible about this hotel is its staff. All of them were so friendly, especially reception staff, they always do their best to please you. We will definitely come back🙌
What a wonderful new hotel. We stayed here middle October 2021 and cannot rave enough about this hotel. It’s a brand new refurbishment and an incredible amount of thought and design has gone into this hotel. The staff at this hotel are all exceptional; every single one of them. I have never been to a hotel where the customer service was so good and all the staff so helpful and genuinely friendly. The resort is very small with basically only the hotel and a small apartment complex in this bay so the hotel basically has its own private beach, one of the nicest beaches on the island too! The hotel is large enough to have a wide range of facilities (including a kids club for younger children), but small enough to be intimate. If you’re after lots of local bars, cheap tacky shops etc then this is not the resort for you. There was live music most evenings (but no cringeworthy tribute acts or karaoke). There’s two independent beach restaurants that was closed this time of year, probably because of the pandemic, but I reckon would be open next summer and an excellent array of watersports and boat excursions available at reasonable prices (independent from the hotel). The hotel has plenty of sunloungers both around the pool and on the beach, with an excellent beach side bar and restaurant, serving very tasty food (generous servings) and top class waiter service. The buffet meals were fantastic in the main restaurant and we ate one night at Topos the seafood restaurant by the beach. We had a dine around package which allowed us to eat there at no extra cost, but even if you had to pay was still reasonably priced and a lovely setting right on the beach watching the sunset. The west facing aspect of this hotel is its secret weapon in my opinion. The sunsets are just incredible. We had a sapphire (ocean facing) room so was able to sit out on our balcony for the view, but the hotel has a fantastic terrace allowing everyone access to this incredible view. The rooms aren’t massive, but very well appointed and we didn’t soend that much time in them anyway (mostly any time in the room was spent on the balcony looking at the ocean!). The beds are large and extremely comfortable. The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle bus to corfu old town, which is a great touch and you can arrange car rental from the hotel, which we did one day when the weather forecast was less favorable. Having explored most of the island that day, I can categorically confirm that this hotel has the very best spot on the island! The western aspect means it’s less likely to rain late in the season and the natural scenery around it was breathtaking. We went for hikes every morning before breakfast up to the nearest little village on top of the hill and around the surrounding trails. If you’re less adventurous (we used a combination of Google maps and All Trails maps to forge our way) then the hotel can arrange guided walks. Well done to an excellent first season, we cannot recommend this hotel enough…
We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous place. The staff, service, restaurants, everything was just perfect. The most amazing sunset we have ever seen. We would like to thank all the hardworking staff, who were here to satisfy any needs.
Nice experience in a beautiful beach resort with excellent beach. Food was good but there is room for improvement. Service was friendly and pleasant. Our room was very nicely decorated. Considering that is a new resort i would say that it was a good experience. The pool needs renovation and the sunbeds needs to be more comfortable. The beach bar although is location looks like it is old. We will return this year during summer season in order to take advantage of the lovely beach!
What a great holiday that was...visiting this hotel in Corfu. It was an amazing and relaxing holiday for myself and my family! The beatiful views of the Ioanian Sea and the marvelous rooms. The most important thing was the positive and hard working staff who always went above and beyond to please us and have a carefree holiday! Reading the comments i was so confused as they have nothing to do with what we have faced in that place! If you have any second thoughts just trust me, go ahead and visit this little heaven on earth!!!!
Where do i start.... This was quite possibly the worst hotel and experience I have ever had. We booked 6 nights and last 2. Tiny rooms with very poor cleaning. Black bathrooms?!?! Very worrying when the rooms werent being cleaned. Clueless, inexperienced & at times rude staff and management. For a supposed 5 star hotel the general finish is appalling. Very very poor organisation in the restaurants. Do not be fooled by the 5 star rating and lovely photos online. In reality it is like Fawlty towers. I could go on and on and on about how bad our experience was. We stayed in June 22 and it has taken us 5 months to get over it!!! Avoid at all costs.
A beautiful hotel right on a wonderful beach. Perfect for a relaxing holiday if lazing by the pool or seafront is what you enjoy. Amazing food! The only thing we were disappointed with was the view from our room. It overlooked a car park and a loud humming noise, possibly from a generator, was constant which was very annoying and prevented us from using the balcony. The views from sea facing rooms are absolutely stunning so it really is worth booking early to try to get one of these. Unfortunately we were unable to change rooms as the hotel was fully booked.
A triumph of style over substance. The service was appalling and what was meant to be a real treat for my family turned out to be a complete waste of money. I would never return even if I was offered a free stay.
From the outset the staff here were excellent. A relaxed and personal check in having been met from the taxi by front of house staff set the tone. I loved the slightly quirky layout with floors stepped up and down from reception on floor 3 and main restaurants on two with bedooms above and below. My wife was not so keen. The fact you can step down from the pool direct to a gently shelving sandy beach with private loungers and parasols was a definite plus. The sea in October was warmer than the pool. The food was also very good. One of the best buffet style offerings I've had in the Med but the wines offered were not exactly cheap with a glass of house starting at 7.5euros and my favourite rose at 11.50 euros a glass. Also good was the twice daily free shuttle bus to Corfu town. This hotel is quite isolated with not a lot to do around it so if you are after buzzing nightlife I'd avoid this place. Now the big downside. Wasps. You couldn't really eat outside in peace without them buzzing around you and bombing your food. They weren't really aggressive but were very annoying. The only other downside was that I'm not a great fan of black sanitary ware in bathrooms as it is hard to see what is clean. This was a win for style over function Would I return? In a flash if the wasp problem solved and white bathroom fittings installed.…
We set out to find a relaxing, laid-back trip to rest and recharge our batteries from a busy life in London. Domes was above and beyond what we could have hoped for. The hotel is stunningly designed, with attention to detail and a sense of sophisticated serenity oozing from every corner. Put simply, it basically looks (and smells) like Zara home, so, if that’s your thing, you’ll love it. The location is sublime. Nestled between the mountain and the sea, next to a tiny village. The sun sets over your dinner table every night. We attended a few of the complimentary sunrise yoga classes, enjoyed the unspoilt beach (even dabbled in the secluded nudist corner about a 10 minute walk away!). We found the food delicious, a gorgeous selection of fish, meats and veggies. Fresh and yummy. All in all, the perfect trip.…
