Truly amazing location. The hotel facilities are superb, fully equipped SPA and nice restaurant with local gourmet food. The breakfast buffet is more American style than I would expect - with sausages and omelet heated in the warmer. Still, the ingredients from hotel's local garden are fresh and tasty. Great experience, we'll be back soon.
Well, I don’t know where to start! This was a splendid property nestled among the slopes of the village of Aristi. We had a splendid time and would return without any doubt! We arrived quite late in the evening however there were plenty of staff around to check us in. They gave us very detailed and helpful tips/advices on the area and highlighted many things to do. We were taken to our rooms which were only a few steps away and there was a helpful bellman to help you with your luggages should you need it. The room was beautifully laid out, the bed was extremely comfortable with high quality linen and a sublime view of snow capped mountains (you also have a little terrace to sip your morning coffee on!). The room had plenty of wardrobe space and hangars along with a safe, slippers, dressing gown etc but we did find the room a bit short on drawers to put things in as we were in Greece for quite a few days with quite a lot of luggage. We loved the nespresso machine, free water and fridge should you need it. I wanted to make some tea in the morning and I called room service for a dash of milk which arrived in literally minutes. The room is well heated which was a relief as it did get a little cold outside! The bathroom was equally as beautiful with stone walls and monsoon shower, amazing amenities which were replenished plentifully and house keeping was always done whenever the staff knew you were out of your room/hotel. We loved the spa! Amazing heated pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi (the jacuzzi overlooks the snow capped mountains which was beautiful) and you can book spa services. They give you disposable slippers and fresh towels and you must book to enter the spa which is still under covid regulations - and this meant the spa was never busy which we loved. Breakfast and other meal times take place in the main restaurant. The food for dinner was of a very high quality and you were served quickly and efficiently (I must say the wine list of local wines was extremely impressive) and we had some standout dishes that were sublime (try the balaclava with cinnamon ice cream). It was a special birthday whilst we were there and they organised cakes, took pictures etc to make sure we had a great time. We were also allowed to have some drinks in the main salon in front of the fire place which was extremely memorable. Breakfast was of a very high quality under strict covid regulations, fresh orange juice and bespoke coffees (you had to request more fresh orange juice if you wanted more and on one occasion it wasn’t fresh orange juice, and all specialised coffees are on request only). We loved the orange cake, spanakopitas, fresh pastries and much more however I would say that it would be nice to have a bit more range for breakfast considering the class of the hotel. We didn’t visit the bar area as we didn’t have time but I would recommend drinking there and eating dinners in the hotel, we had some quite poor and expensive meals in the town which I wouldn’t repeat ever again. Aristi village is perfect if you want to visit the nearby villages, walks, rafting, trekking etc and we were so glad we got to enjoy this little piece of mountain paradise.…
It was the best romantic destinations i visit .and wonderfull hotel spa with amazing stuff and very good restaurant.also very clean. Everything we ask for was immediately full filled . So i defenately will come back Michal
After a disastrous dinner the first evening (dry meat skewers and dry chicken) the breakfasts and other dinners were delicious. The resort is beautiful, with beautiful, comfortable rooms in separate buildings. The view from the rooms and the dining areas is unbelievably beautiful. The rooms are so well designed, beautiful, and comfortable. The staff are so polite, kind, and professional. This is truly a unique place.
A very nice resort, we were disapointed by the fact that we did not have a balcony facing the view , despite the fact that we paid for a very expensive suite. Our "balcony" was in fact 2 chairs and a small table situated on the passage alley between 2 buildings. I mean, we had to be fully dressed in order to sit there...and no view at all. Also, the windows of the bedroom were exactely orientated to the same alley, that means that everyone could stare directely into the bed. The airconditioning was ineffective, I suppose that because they block the temperature at what they consider enough, which in the hot days of the summer is not enough. The sun was in the direction of our bedroom in the afternoons and it was extremely hot. The roof is made of wood and was cracking all night long. Restaurant is fantastic, perfect service at breakfast and dinner. Food very good, congratulations to the chef!…
Stayed here for three nights with friends while visiting the Vikos Gorge. The facilities, views rooms were all 5 star. Lovely setting with great views of the mountain. We used the out door pool area which was lovely and while we found it warm enough it may have been to chilly for the locals and we had it to ourselves. We had regenerative massages and facials and the staff were friendly and efficient. Felt rejuvenated after our brief stay in this lovely resort.
First time we stayed there was 3 years ago dyring the winter and it was just amazing…excellent hotel..during lockdowns we kept dreaming about going back as soon as we could..we did it and we really enjoyed it…great amazing excellent!!!lovely food lovely breakfast as well!!!
One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever visited. The landscape is magical and services provided are impeccable. The location is very convenient for excursions to villages nearby. Exquisite breakfast and dinner. View from the room’s veranda is one of a kind. Will definitely visit again!
Great place! We stayed in this hotel s a family for 2 nights and wished that we stayed more! Amazing view, very large and comfortable villa. Very good breakfast and nice pool. We also liked the village and the service. Highly recommend this place to anyone
Fabulous resort totally incorporated in the Zagori surrounding. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. It has a beautiful swimming pool extremely useful if you visit during summer. Aristi village may not be that big but it serves great as base point to explore most of the zagori villages. The restaurant of the hotel is great value for money. Definitely will visit again!!
