For so many of us in search of a peaceful retreat this is one of them. Away from all the unnecessary thing we are used to getting daily Wind Song offers the simplicity that many of us, city living people, need. This is a wake up call with the beautiful nature Tasmania has to offer. Yes the house is located... More

Five members of our family stayed at Wind Song for a night - what a beautiful place in which to stay. Jane and Tom provide warm and thoughtful hospitality. The accommodation is spacious, charming and beautifully comfortable & set in tranquil surroundings. We loved the abundance of reading matter, the open fire, the good conversation and the superb evening meal... More

The minute we pulled up outside this beautiful property we knew we had stumbled across a gem in the middle of nowhere. We were greeted warmly by the host of the B&B. Tom made us feel like family. The cottage looked small on the outside but wow! What a little charmer!! It felt like we were home. Everything tastefully furnished,... More

The Wind Song is a ways off the main highway, up on a hill in the bush. Very quiet and quaint. The room was large and we also had a kitchen area and a nice seating area. There are lots of wallabies all around the house. There is no Wi-Fi here! Beware. The breakfast table is set up in the... More

If you are looking for a lovely quiet place to chill out, then go no further. Take a few days provisions, some good books that you haven't had time to read and a bottle or three of Tasmania's great wines and you will refurbish yourself.

If there was one place in Tasmania I will return to it will be Wind Song. A beautiful and spacious cottage with exquisite home garden, surrounded by the tranquil, vast farm land and cute jumping wallabies. The garden suite I stayed was equipped with just about everything I could imagine. The bed was comfortable and the room was cosy. The... More

We can't say enough about the beautiful Windsong B&B. By far the best accommodation we stayed in during our self drive around Tassie. We stayed in the romantic and comfortable Garden Suite, which to our delight included a private lounge, small kitchenette and large bathroom as well as a gorgeous country-style bedroom - the small touches like fresh flowers and... Located 4km off the main path, 3km of which over an unsealed road, is the Wind Song charming one bedroom + living room accommodation. Its location means tranquility and lots of wallabies at night, which can be scouted at leisure through the bedroom's expansive windows. Lovely views of the Milky Way are virtually guaranteed, too (barring clouds). Is there a... More

That you for your comments - the shower door has been attended to, new hotplates have been ordered however I have some concerns about the toilet fan filling the space with 'chimney output from the adjacent accommodation'. This is an extractor fan so as such would not be drawing air in - also at the time of your stay there... More
