Stayed here for several nights with a golfing group. The rooms have been renovated and quite acceptable. Ask for a room on the west side, as there is a pub on the front section and on both nights we were there drinkers spilled out onto the car park and we endured noise and foul language until about midnight.

Newly renovated rooms with ensuites are clean and comfortable. No brekky but a little restaurant nearby called "Harbourroad " cooks a homestyle breakfast. Westpac bank with ATM is opposite as is IGA store. We were there on golf package.

The rooms have been modernized recently and offer decent size and amenity. The odd thing was that even though the price for accommodation $180 per night (not cheap when considering the surroundings etc) was charged, there was no breakfast offering. We ate at the pub lounge on our first night and the food was simple but of a great standard....

New Chefs are amazing. The food for the 1st time in many years was spectacular, but you must get there early to get your meal served at a reasonable hour. The King Island steak was cooked to perfection. Hope they keep up the good work.

This hotel has recently been extended. It is comfortable but like KI is a bit laid back. Apparently the management is connected to a Golf Club on the Island. Reception is non existent, a bar man does his best to assist. Everything is new at the moment and comfortable. Rooms are not numbered but given names of local areas. Finding...

Hospitality lacking. No one at reception on arrival. Had to find a bar person to let us into our room. Similar checkout. Had to find a cleaner to let them know we had checked out. No food available as chef had left so needed to eat out for every meal.

Stayed at Parers for 3 nights in May whilst on a golf trip to King Island. Rooms have recently been refurbished to cater for the expected increase in visitors. I shared with 2 others and the room was nicely decorated and comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits were replenished daily. Staff kindly provided us with a clothes horse to help dry...

We were on a golf holiday and were based at this Hotel, now called Ocean Dunes Hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the room, staff and dinner were. They have recently renovated it and made it very comfortable. Even though it's not fancy, it delivers a clean room, firm bed, big plasma TV and nice size refrigerator. Pre...

This hotel has recently changed hands and is now called the Ocean Dunes Hotel. Owned by the golf course of the same name. The rooms have recently been updated. They are fairly small with only one chair in our room. Not a drama as the beds were comfortable and it's not a place you need to spend lots of time...

Went to King Island for golf and a bit of sight seeing. Hotel now called Ocean Dunes Hotel. Clean and comfortable. Dinner was good and breakfast basic but just what we wanted. Staff friendly and the hotel is gearing itself towards golfing groups
