We spent two weeks in June at Sky Beach Club. Our family had one of the best vacations we have ever had. The view is amazing! The property is only a short walk from the beach, and we almost always had the beach to ourselves. It is truly one of the most beautiful beaches we have every visited. There was excellent snorkeling available simply by walking from the house, or you can hang out on the beach, play in the surf, and build sand castles with the kids. Our twins, who are 9 years old, loved the pool right in front of the house. It’s a great way to wind down after adventures on the island or area beaches. There is also a pool at the restaurant, with a swim up bar where the kids ordered delicious mango smoothies everyday! Sammy at the bar is a delight for kids and adults alike. The house was immaculate and clean. We found the kitchen and dining area perfect for breakfasts, lunch, and those nights when you don’t want to eat out. The design and layout is modern and provides privacy for all of the guests. It is a very easy drive to Governors’ Harbor (great dining and shops!) and centrally located to visit the rest of the island. We plan to visit again as soon as possible!

Spent a week on Eleuthera at the Sky Beach Club and loved it. The resort had a very relaxed vibe and was perfect for daily walks on the beach, snorkeling, swimming and paddleboarding. Great location with a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean and a short walk to the Caribbean Ocean on the other side of the road. Restaurants were fabulous, especially in August during lobster season!!! Accomodations were tastefully furnished, clean, comfortable and perfect for families or friends travelling together. Would highly recommend

We had an absolutely incredible time here. My wife and I wanted a quick getaway so we stopped here for food but realized we wanted to stay the night due to the privacy and beauty of this resort.
Sammy was incredible at the bar, and the food was some of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had in my life. You could tell it was fresh and made from scratch.
The management on property was polite, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as relaxing and care free as possible. We have stayed in many resorts and taken many trips but this was probably our favorite so far. You cannot find anything in the entire Bahamas where you get this kind if luxury for this price point.
We will definitely be back!

After a flight delay, we decided to eat the cost of this fairly expensive resort so the kids could swim and decompress after a long day. It took us nearly 2 hours to check in given that the front desk attendant gave us the wrong key three different times (keys that were activated to open other rooms). When we finally got into our room (which was supposed to be a double), they told us we couldn't have the rooms we'd booked, and they were going to block off one (which would not have been enough beds for our family of 6). Also, the couch bed didn't have sheets. I went back to the front desk to request them and was given a large bag of sheets, blankets and pillows to carry across the property to our room. By the time we got it all worked out, the kids were crying, because we couldn't take them to swim and were "the worst parents ever." The next morning, we asked for a late checkout given all of the confusion and our inability to use the resort amenities (e.g., two beautiful pools), but they declined. Not because they were full either. The place is under construction, and there were barely any other guests. It's a shame, because the property itself is lovely and could be a real gem once their construction is complete and they get some basic customer service issues resolved.

We wanted to go on a nice vacation with our 5 grown kids. Sky Beach looked like the place with a bar, restaurant, large house, and beautiful beach. First the road into the club is the worst on the island! It is bad! We were given House 13 (or House 1 per our reservation). The outside of the house is in desperate need of maintenance. Cracks, peeling stucco. Generator rusted though. Electricity goes out every day for 3-4 hours at this time of year. Many many tiles falling off the pool. 4 lounge chairs and one “day bed” with no cushion. Inside all the beds were worn and lumpy. The couches are thin cushions on wood and terribly uncomfortable. All the furniture was worn and breaking. All of the walls were stained and dirty. One shower did not work at all and another did not have any warm water. Kitchen is minimally stocked. House is extremely loud and echos the smallest noise. We were so disappointed we found another house and we moved as soon as possible.

Went with family of 6 between Xmas and New Years and stayed at a villa The house was cold and uninviting Not comfortable at all! Shower lukewarm. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Luckily booked a new place because we didn't want to spend another night there. Road and driveway horrible. Pool area pictures look nothing like what you're seeing in these photos. Would NOT recommend

Absolutely loved Sky Beach Club! We went for a week at New Years and it was magical. The resort is very small so you are never around a crowd. The water at the beach was as clear as a pool and there were never others around. It was very secluded and private. The restaurant food was really good and Sammy the bartender was amazing. All staff very friendly and helpful. We rented a home and it had everything we needed and was beautiful! The road around the resort is very rocky and not paved smoothly but that was not an issue. We are already planning to return as soon as we can! The only negative would be that I would’ve liked having chairs on the beach… but we made it work with just sitting on towels. Would highly recommend this quiet, beautiful little piece of paradise at Sky Beach Club. Cannot wait to go back!

Sky Beach is fabulous! This was our fourth visit and we can’t wait to go back! We rented a gorgeous home that was spacious and well equipped. Sky Beach is the perfect location in the middle of the island and close to the adorable town of Governors Harbour. We loved being able to walk to the pool and Sammy’s bar at Sky Beach. The beach is magical. You can walk forever and hardly see a soul. It’s like having your own private beach. We’ve been with couples, girls trip and families. It’s perfect for any kind of group. We love Sky Beach!

What a lovely, lovely spot. We had such a blast at Sky Beach Resort! The home where we stayed had amazing views, a great kitchen and very nice en suite baths for each bedroom. One highlight was the daily walks we did on the truly amazing beach--so beautiful, and we had it all to ourselves most days! Enjoying drinks by the resort pool with live music one memorable evening was another memory I won't soon forget. And we also had lots of time to relax and enjoy time with friends while soaking in the spectacular views from many different spots in the resort. Sky Beach is the perfect spot to unwind and relax while you vibe with the beautiful nature that surrounds you.

Misrepresented property. We arrived to construction and property closed except for or bungalow. No food, no bar, pool closed, beach access closed, hot tub empty, green water in pool and floating trash. This resort is in a horrible state of disrepair. Starting with roads, broken security gate, no onsite security, rusted out tables, worn out beach loungers, rough paths, broken steps. The villas and bungalow were high end as built years ago,and remain ok, rest of resort virtually does not exist or has fallen to disrepair. We were only guests.

Response from Matthew Simon, Agency / Consultant at Sky Beach Club
Responded Oct 25, 2022
This review has significant distortions and exaggerations. The driveway does indeed need repaving. That is scheduled for later this year. The resort was not closed, and the guest was aware of this fact. September and October is the off-season, and Sky Beach Club was using this slow time to make various repairs. The restaurant is open Thursday to Sunday during the off season (it returns to normal hours on Nov. 1). All rooms are open and available. The pool is open and in use. There is no trash in the pool. The gate and guard house were never put into operation from the day the property opened, because this is Eleuthera, and gates and guards are not necessary or used anywhere.

The DSL high speed internet is quite good, fast enough for most normal uses. You might want to have your cell phone available as a personal hot spot as a back up, since there are occasional outages. But overall reliability is pretty good on the island.
ReggaeBoy's advice is on point. Walking from Sky Beach to Governor's Harbour (by road or along the beach) would take over an hour. You will want a car, boat or be very good at distance biking to get around Eleuthera! Have access to more cash than you think you will need. We made arrangements for an SUV rented by phone thru one of the locals recommended by our hotel, had to pay cash and there was a security deposit - this is normal biz arrangement on this island.
Hi Debby,
We don't have an all-inclusive option. There are no all-inclusives on Eleuthera. (The all-inclusives tend to be big resorts in busy locations like Nassau.
