The Potlatch Club is a beautiful, world class resort that compares to the top resorts in the world. It is small and intimate. It feels like you are a member at an exclusive private club. The location on the beach is breathtakingly beautiful. The cottages are beautifully appointed and private. The grounds are manicured and add to the natural beauty. The staff goes out of their way to be friendly, welcoming and to accommodate any request. The attention to details like impeccable housekeeping, water brought to you anywhere you go, attention by the beach attendants adds to the feeling of exclusivity.
The Fig Tree restaurant is very good and excellent by Bahamas standards. Comfortable with no reservations required.
I highly recommended The Potlatch Club for a few days of peace, quiet, rest and relaxation.

We stayed in one of the Garden Suites from February 8 to February 12, 2025, and had a wonderful experience in all respects. The resort has only 12 units spread over several acres with two separate swimming pools (each pool alone seemed to have enough seating to accommodate all the guests), easy access to the beach (a wide, long, gorgeous beach that actually exceeded our expectations), and an excellent restaurant (The Fig Tree) that we found serves the best food in Governor’s Harbour. Our Garden Suite (large and very comfortable) was just short walk from the reception building, the Fig Tree Restaurant, both pools, and the beach, and yet with plenty of beautiful space to maintain the perfect blend of comfort and seclusion. But perhaps the best part of the resort is the staff. From Krysia in reception, to the servers and bartenders, to the staff that helped take care of us at the pool and on the beach, everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this resort.

The accomodations far exceeded our expectations. We were in cottage #9 and the view, surroundings was just beautiful. We enjoyed lunch by the pool one day and it was excellent. Everyone we interacted with was extemely nice and the manager Djori went above and beyond to make us feel like family. This was very special to us as we celebrated our 30th Anniversary at the Potlatch. The botique shop is a hidden gem that you just happen to find. The Club is absolutely beautiful
The sunrise on the beach was amazing, every breakfast was wonderful. It was a nice touch that it was included in our rate.
The Potlatch will be our accomodation of choice in Eleuthera every time we visit. The time was too short, we must return and stay longer. It left us with the WOW factor!
