We were a family of 5 staying for 5 days. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay in Island seaside suites. There are some 5 pointers and some 1 pointers in the location. The location is just perfect if you are looking for a quite relaxing vacation. Hidden behind lush vegetation and in comfortable distance from stores and other points of interests on the Island. The veranda is looking out over the sea with breathtaking views and there is a pathway leading 50 yards down to chrystal clear water. The beach can be accessed through either swimming or walking (depending on the tide) about 50-100 yards. We rented the lower floor while the upper had no guests so that added to the tranquility. The owner, Al, is a very kind and helpful man who gave good tips on what to do and see on the island.
On the minus side the house left quite to wish for when it comes to cleanliness and equipment. Overall it did not seemed to have been properly cleaned for some time and grease and dust where present in most areas. Some of the kitchen equipment where old and worn and not so nice to use for cooking. Batteries for 2/3 AC remotes where out and toilet- and kitchen paper where not lasting more than 2 days. Furnitures and interior are not of the latest fashion but that might have been ok if the rest of the house would have been fresh. We also wished that the house would come with some kind of recreational equipment like snorkling gear, kayak, fishing rods or other but nothing like that existed.
To summarize, we were very happy all together but the inside of the house needs a facelift. If we return to Eleuthera we would probably look for something else since we have the feeling that we could have a little more value for money.

Beautiful house with an amazing view!! We spent our mornings on the veranda, watching the ocean and listening to the silence. In the afternoon we watched the sunset from the veranda and enjoyed our evening meals outside. The beds are so comfortable, our sleeps were deep and peaceful. I was very sad to leave the island but mostly sad to leave this beautiful house. I highly encourage you to book this place for a romantic retreat or a family reunion. It's spacious, comfortable and designed to perfection. You will have everything you need for an island getaway

Spending our Easter holidays in one of the seaside suits at Archer’s was one of our best experiences so far.
It was big, spacious, clean, comfortable- just as it was described. Contacting Albert and getting the keys was easy and went well. Albert gave us all the important und useful tips from all around the island.
The flat was perfect. A huge terrace with an incredible, breath-taking view of the bay. Walking down some steps you have a direct access to the crystal clear water. The flat was perfectly clean, your own towels, well stocked kitchen, a washing machine…- everything we needed and also perfectly working. There is also enough space to live there with five adults.
Albert is a very helpful guy, especially on Easter Sunday when we needed to get our flight but our car wasn’t working. So he and his son in law drove us to the airport we got our flight in time.
We want to thank Albert and his family for this incredible time and we’re definitely coming back!

Luckily we only stayed 1 night. The directions said North Palmetto and call caretaker to meet. We couldn’t get a hold of him - he’d gone to Nassau for New Years. Some locals helped us track down the villa and then someone in town told us door is open and go in. For $450 per night you have the upstairs apartment which is very basic. The back stairs are carpeted and reek of mildew which you smell throughout the apartment. There are stairs down to the bay which are broken and a dangerous drop into the water - not a beach. The sunset view is very nice over the bay and island farm is close by for produce. We have stayed at other villas in Eleuthera and you can do much better for the same price - a whole house, clean and on a beautiful beach.
