We stayed in the 4 bed Cottage with family. Booked 3 days. The place is stunning in its location and getting away from the city. Beautiful area. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The food was ok too. I was a little disappointed by the accommodation though. Very budget feel to it, yet not a budget price in my...

What a ecletic place in the middle of Java!! Quite strange to find such opulence the promise of eco resort, home grown veggies etc.... However it just felt soulless, as if it wants to be something else! It advertises organic food but the menu was small and didn't reflect this.. could do so much more with veggie options etc.. The...

It's a beautiful property. Interesting family friendly activities with visible commitment to social justice. Sadly you have to understand and speak Bahasa Indonesia to participate in most of them. Be warned that a large group took over at one point and was very noisy with microphone late night and early morning. Mostly teenagers without any manners. There are two restaurants...

Kaliandra is one of the most beautiful places in East Java. A very well run eco-resort, thegrounds are wonderful to walk through. The restaurant serves very tasty Indonesian food and health drinks. The teak wood bungalow accommodation is beautifully designed and very exotic in its setting. The Villa Luduk is a remarkable Palladian mansion built by the owner and well-worth...

Our family of 5, 3 young adults and parents, spent two nights here. The location is fabulous, and the surroundings are amazing. The way the foundation seems to be involved in giving the local people chances to improve their working and living conditions is of course admirable, but there is a lot of room for improvement in the way this...

The serenity and the beauty of the place made us feel so relaxed the moment we arrived. And of course the hospitality of the staff too. We truly enjoyed the specially prepared Javanese cuisine which we arranged prior to our visit. The spa is worth trying as they have a special enzyme treatment which is reputed to give much health...

Has been to this place for more than five times. Being here always gave me peace and tranquility. It is surrounded by greenery, with nice cool and clean air. No need for any air-con. In additional, I must praise the staff for their friendliness and the quality of their service.

I booked a 3D2N Mt bromo & Ijen hike with them. The price is higher than the local providers, but i guessed it is reasonable with the full board, knowledgeable guide and ease of logistics arrangements (we are staying at the resort after the hike). Very reasonable px for the standard room, but it is a little noisy in the...

I and my parents eat at Griya Dhahar. We order gurami goreng (fried fish) and kangkung cah balacan (vegetables). It looks delicious. But when we eat gurami goreng, it is undercook and smell not good. I tell the cashier & server, but they only said "Ya". They ignore my complaint.
