We can´t praise Dar Timitar highly enough : the most spectacular location I have ever seen, high above the valley you´ll feel like overlooking the world. A rich breakfast ( mostly organic products ) is served on the vast terrace. Our room was really huge with super comfortable beds, large bathroom & very nicely decorated. To top it off :...

This was such a great surprise after the first day of our private guided tour over the Atlas Mountains, through the beautiful Dades and Roses Valley's and out to the Sahara. We were greeted warmly by the proprietor, served a refreshing pot of mint tea, and shown to our incredible room with a balcony overlooking the valley. Dinner was served...

Pitched on top of cliff this guest house has the most incredible views. Maybe they could give better info on how to get there because we got a little lost but once we got there it was magic. Very pleasant welcome, very simple but clean rooms and a good tajine. This place has great potential.

This is a beautiful family run guest house in a stunning location. We spent two weeks using Dar Timitar as a base from which to visit the Sahara desert and the valley of the roses. Ahmed organised our trips to the sand dunes and the mountains with great care, which was really helpful as we were travelling with small children....

Although the address shows as El Kelaa M'gouna, Dar Timitar is in Tabarkhacht, about 15 k out of town and at the end of a 2 km piste. It's a little like the Bates Motel - Moroccan style! The views are tremendous, but the winds were very strong and you fell like you are going to be blown off the...

I originally phoned the owner of the hotel to book a room and was told there were none available. However, I subsequently found a family room on Hotels.com website which I quickly booked. I later realised that I had paid over twice as much for the room as indicated on the property's website. I only realised this when discussing it...
