I love waking up to the view of the Alpacas while sharing delightful conversation with Swiss locals. I recommend an evening of star gazing in the hot pot. What the town lacks in variety of restaurants it more than makes up for with unprecedented beauty from every window and friendly interactions. The gondola ride up to the town of Feldis starts off the introduction with astounding view of the Rein as it runs wild in the valley below. I plan to be back for the summer to hike around the mountain. More

From the dining room where the guests sit on long wooden tables, there is a breathtaking view on the village below, the Heinzenberg and the Beverin mountains on the other side of the valley. Especially the way the clouds move in the morning around the forest and cliffs is quite dramatic. The inn is simplistic, yet pleasant, one feels like a big family with the other guests. There are clean common showers... More
