We have been here 3 times now and stayed overnight twice. All the other times we absolutely loved it. This time I am afraid we couldn't say the same. On arrival at the spa we used to get complimentary flip flops and a robe to wear for the duration of the time we were there, these now cost. The hot...

Went with a friend for a afternoon tea on a Sunday. We expected it to be busy but it felt very quiet. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful with a quick tour around the place. Everything looks very clean and organised. Lockers are free and big enough to use for 2 people. I loved the fact that I only had...

We stayed at Rookery Manor for one night on a Groupon deal. Never too sure what to expect on these deals but were very pleasantly surprised. The reception area is very impressive. We were a little disconcerted that the room was away from the main block and we had to walk outside to reach it but fortunately it was not...

We stayed here for two nights on a Groupon deal. We had a room in the attic of the Manor House. Although up many stairs the room was very pleasant with some nice (although glitzy with little ceiling lights) touches, soft cotton towels and nice biscuits and a very helpful umbrella. The room was very clean and had a soft...

I brought on impulse an overnight stay with Prosecco, Dinner and breakfast deal on Groupon to stay in one of the hotels Yurts. However reading the reviews of the Yurts I asked if we could upgrade at a cost to one of the suites which was fulfilled. Wow what a room it was. - four poster bed, a large bathroom...

I stayed on 27.12.16 for 1 night. It was a present from my parents for my partner and myself. They had booked us a yurt and I was dreading it - the camping lifestyle is not for me! The venue was very easy to find, driving from Cardiff, the sat nav took us straight to the venue. On arrival the...

Had a lovely time in the really good spa, had a nice meal, booked a suite which looked really nice.... All this was leading to 5 stars... BUT.... the beds and pillows were awful, making a night sleep impossible. I have stayed in many £1 a night hostels over the years and the beds were better there. Such a shame...

Ok, so I've read quite a few negative reviews regarding the yurks at rookery but having got married at rookery 2 years ago and it being our anniversary I thought I'd find out for myself. We got a deal on groupon which helped reduce the cost so that was a bonus. Arrived at about 2 PM to check in and...

We stayed here a few years ago and it was lovely, the place seemed fresh, new and clean, this time we were not so lucky. The first room we were given, China, was small and there was a strong urine smell. The second room was ok, a bit dated, the Pearl room, the front door of the building looked worse...
