Had a few days to spend away from my own vacation rental (Flying Toucans) here in Costa Rica so where does an owner of a vacation rental go himself? How about Cabo Matapalo, the best spot to see scarlet macaws, monkeys, beaches and wildlife. And where is a great spot to stay once there? How about Encanta La Vida. My... More

We stayed here for 3nights. It was perfect. We absolutely loved the food. I wish i could do the same red tuna we had for supper one day, amazing. Pool was nice and refreshing. Everything was just perfect. We saw lots of monkeys around and other animals. Staff was friendly, room very clean. Shower was outside our cottage and with... More

I just returned from traveling in Costa Rica with a university group from the US. Moving a group of seventeen people around Costa Rica can be challenging under the best of circumstances, but getting a large group onto the Osa Peninsula and into Corcovado National Park can seem downright daunting. However, our experience was flawless - due in large part... More

Beautiful property with wildlife all around, amazing food and service, fin and friendly staff, and an all around good time. Perfect place to stay for a surf trip, honeymoon, or just to get a way. I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else after my 5-star experience at Encanta La Vida.

“Our family of 5 shared Deluxe cabins 1 & 2, which are the upstairs and downstairs of the same building. We could have all fit into either space, but that would have been a bit crowded -- plenty of sleeping room but for that many people there would have been limited storage space. It was lovely and nice to have a hot shower as an option. Both rooms had electricity and a small fan next to each bed, but the power went out about 10 p.m. so those fans don't run all night. Not a problem for me, I was always asleep by then anyway.”
