This was our second visit to Osa after five years and it was just as spectacular as it was the first time. We stayed again at Casa Linda and enjoyed every minute. The house was spotless, well equipped, well maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and for cooking our meals. We saw so many animals including...

Excellent stay. We woke up every day to monkeys and birds visiting us and went to bed listening to the ocean waves. The location was perfect, with great access to nearby trails and waterfalls, obviously the beach and a local restaurant bar with reasonably priced, good-tasting meals. The owners were very quick to respond to requests. Can't recommend the place...

On arrival in San Jose, we got a message from our first hosts in Punta Uva to say that due to the imminent arrival of Hurricane Otto (first hurricane to hit CR in 174 years), they would have to close for safety reasons, which we totally understood. So, we phoned Lynn to tell her of our problems, she immediately contacted...

This is our 3rd time at Casa Bambu in 4 years - our family loves it here - the combination of wildlife, beaches, surf, and remoteness can't be beat. You may see my prior review for the details on the house and my opinion of it. We don't usually return to vacation spots as we like to explore, but this...

We were so happy when we arrived for our stay at Casa Bambu, the house was open and waiting for us. Spider monkeys greeted us on arrival. We were provided with helpful information before our arrival. The house location is amazing, just steps from the beach and the house was more than we expected, wide open to the outdoors. During...

Our 48 hours at Casa Bambu only scratched the surface of experiencing the beauty and excitement around the Osa Peninsula! Casa Bambu owners and staff were welcoming, warm and hospitable. The house was amazingly comfortable, airy and well maintained. The beach was close and the area surrounding the house was absolutely beautiful. We went for a guided hike through the...

What an amazing place to spend a few nights in Costa Rica. After spending two days hiking around the Sirena Ranger station in Corovado -- I was amazed to see so many more monkeys and macaws hanging arounds Casa Bambú. It never got old!

We loved our time at Casa Sonrisa! Because this particular house sits back a bit on the hill, I think we saw even more wildlife than those closer to the beach, although the view of the Golfo Dulce was beautiful too. Case Sonrisa backs up to an area that could almost be considered a monkey playground! We saw 4 types...
