The attention of the collaborators is excellent, very helpful. The food is fresh and on time, the cleaning of the rooms is just as punctual.
However, we must start working on these things: - There is no Bolirrana or other type of games area. - The bar is already very small for the number of guests. The people who serve play music to their liking and may get upset if you ask them for a song. - The live shows are very nice but it sounds repetitive since it is the third time I have come and they do the same thing. - They should consider some type of mini disco to make bigger night plans since it is only listening to music and having to go to bed early.

We had a family reunion and had a fantastic time. We can say that the staff at Hotel Estelar made this vacation a very pleasant and memorable experience. Not so far from the airport (20 minutes, around $10 dollars/45,000 pesos) There is a swimming pool just for adults, a small pool for babies and 2 swimming pools for families. The hotel has a nice beach, the sand is very fine, dark with specks of shiny materials, no rocks, very pleasant to walk barefoot. There are plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Only a couple of vendors with beautiful crafts and good prices. Due to local regulations, it closes after sunset. The food was very good: buffets for breakfast and lunch. You need to make reservations for dinner (3 small restaurants available) we ate early and had no issues, but service may be slow when it gets busy ( they may need more staff). Local dishes were delicious, they also bake fresh bread products every day! and kids enjoyed getting hamburgers and skewers after swimming. The international night had great paella and Mexican favorites. Waiters were great accommodating our big group, Belkys and the morning crew were very sweet with our children. When they learned our youngest loved granadillas, they made sure she had always a full plate of this delicious fruit. At dinner tine, Carlos helped us making sure food was safe for our son who has food allergies. The rooms were clean, fresh with balconies to enjoy the nature surrounding the buildings. Beautiful flowers everywhere ! We saw many kinds of birds, iguanas and lizards. It is a tropical place, bring bug repellent. There are working cats and a couple of friendly dogs roaming around. They didn’t bother anyone, keep to themselves looking for shadow . There were movies and dancing shows at night. The dancers were very good and the presenter was hilarious. Noemí helped us planning activities in Cartagena, her recommendations were very good:: a private city tour was a better deal, a day excursion to islas del rosario that included the aquarium and a Eco-fishing trip that the families will never forget (fishing for crabs in the ciénaga). There is a little store where you can get all your needs and beautiful souvenirs. We greatly appreciated that the prices were not inflated ( traveling with children, you always need extra stuff). We got presents for everyone there, Much better prices than at the airport. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel!

I want to express my sincere thanks to Hotel Estelar Manzanillo for the attentions provided during our stay. In particular, I would like to highlight the excellent treatment my mother and mother-in-law received at their birthday celebrations. Thanks to all the team, this special date became an unforgettable experience for them.
The friendliness and friendliness of the staff was evident at every moment of our stay. From the reception, the comfortable rooms, the relaxing pools, to the impeccable service in the restaurants, all made us feel at home.
During our stay, we had the opportunity to enjoy the gastronomic offer of the hotel. We tried the Italian restaurant and the typical food, and both were just great. In addition, breakfast and lunch buffets offered a wide variety of options, which was especially important to me as I follow the keto diet. I felt completely included in every meal, and it was not difficult to find delicious and suitable options.
Pool activities were another highlight of our experience. The recreationists always had a positive and contagious attitude, making us all have fun. In addition, the waiters at the snacks were exceptional, offering quick and friendly service. The snacks were so varied and complete that they looked like just another meal, with options like chicken, fish, hot dogs, burgers and a large selection of drinks.
I would also like to emphasize that the hotel is perfectly designed for those traveling with baby cars or people with reduced mobility. All areas are easily accessible, which made our stay even more comfortable and pleasant.
It is evident the effort and dedication that the Hotel Estelar team has put into continuously improving every aspect of the service. Our entire family is completely grateful for the hospitality received, and we are confident that we will return in the future.
We sincerely thank all the staff and the Star network for making this experience truly special.

The staff is wonderful! To highlight the excellent service and attitude of all the collaborators with whom we had the opportunity to meet during the stay. Having said that, I would describe the hotel as noisy, the music from the family pool is so loud that it carries all the way to the beach... The place to order drinks has other music blaring all the way to the snack place. The only quiet place was the quiet pool, which we never knew from the website was exclusively for adults. So we had to ask permission to enter this pool with my family so we could rest. The pool is deteriorated and cracked, the cleanliness is questionable. They take you off the beach at 6pm, it is not possible to see the sunset because the lifeguard takes you out. The rooms are not soundproof, we heard the neighbors all night and they also smoked in the room... We asked for change and fortunately they gave it to us. The air conditioners are old and make noise... A lot of noise... As for food, the rich breakfasts, the very regular buffet lunch (compensation box type) and the dinners with its three restaurants are of acceptable quality. The hotel is far from the city, it is small and with few activities to do. It is a shame to leave this review because the staff, as I said at the beginning, was wonderful.

There are many aspects to consider: I will start with the positive aspects: -Very good attention from the staff, really they always cared to solve any situation. Quiet place. -Broad beach, the hotel has organized spaces with chairs and tents available for guests. No additional fees. Varied food, very good seasoning. It is only 20 or 30 minutes from Cartagena, it is very easy to go to the city and it is not expensive. In addition the Hotel has available at specific times a bus that takes you to the city and brings you back. -Typical food restaurant, which is put in service for lunchtime, I found the best, not least because of the varied dishes, because it is closed, has air conditioning and do not allow animals to enter Aspects to consider: -The restaurant is open and allow dogs and cats who reportedly live in the hotel. I know a lot of people don't mind, but you hope that in a hotel you don't have to go through those situations. They should at least control this situation somewhat. -Although I made my Reservation in advance and confirmed them on two occasions, even the day before I traveled, when I arrived at the hotel I had a slightly annoying situation as the person who attended me stated that there was only one reservation. Even though I gave her the two codes they sent me and the payment records she insisted there was only one. I had to download and present bank statements of the cards with which I paid where the payment was recorded. After almost an hour the lady finally found the two reservations and explained that they had already assigned one of them to another guest. Although they found the reservations of the two rooms we were located in two different blocks, quite separate, which was uncomfortable because when traveling in a group of friends one wants to be close. I think they should improve that aspect because by a mistake of a person or a platform generate discomfort to guests.
The hotel is ideal for Family Trips as the sea in this sector is very mild. It's a very normal hotel. If you have expectations of luxury and comfort is not the place. The price is right for what they offer.
Thanks to the staff who were always very attentive and willing.

The hotel is beautiful as the infrastructure, it has 2 pools and surrounded by an amazing nature. The point is that I felt the hotel is not client centered because it’s more focused on low cost experience. There is just one towel delivery point for the all hotel and you need to walk across to get one or even to give it back. It announce all inclusive even liquor but liquor they use is low quality and you will suffer headache for the rest of day. Even being in the beach you need to go back to the main bar to get a coke or a cocktail. The breakfast is not as you would expect and it’s not possible to get the typical desayuno costeño: no carimañolas, no arepa de huevo and it’s filled with cheap amenities as packed marmalade, syrup, salt and pepper. In our room, the AA didn’t worked properly neither the fridge. Despite this most of the staff is great and they are always wiling to give the best experience to the client.

They should improve the beach. Make it look like a beach that you pay for and not a public beach. They should invest in the furniture that is already old, they should clean it permanently, rake sand, plant more grass, improve the lifeguard hut, make it a new modern one, demarcate the safe area within the water, they should make a luxury beach. They could make a dock, they could put lights on it to walk on it at night. They could put some detail and simple taste into it and make it not look so poor.

In general terms, the experience at the hotel was very good. We traveled with 2 adults and a child for a couple of days and everything was excellent. Regarding arrival, although it is true that the hotel is located 20 minutes (approximately) from the airport, transportation is easy. However, despite the kindness, there could be 2 people at the reception to speed up the process. The room in the tower 3 and 5 floor with balcony (view of the pool and distant sea), minibar, television, bathroom with soap, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash and hairdryer. Room tidying every day and linen change if requested. Semi-private beach with chairs and umbrellas, organized with biosafety protocols. 2 swimming pools, 1 for everyone and another for adults only. As for food, general buffet and 3 specialized restaurants upon reservation (very easy), the food is very varied and delicious, including snacks. However, they could implement some measures to avoid food waste so much that people serve themselves in quantities and do not finish the plate. As for the service, everything was very good, including the infirmary. While it is true, the hotel seems to be pet friendly, it would be important to have a little more control over the dogs and cats that walk around the restaurant waiting for a bite since not all of us feel comfortable eating with animals. Finally, for our departure, even though our flight left at night, they helped us with the delivery of the room a little later, as well as using the facilities and services without any problem; We had a very good stay and highly recommended.

Check-in is too slow since they take a while to deliver the rooms. Other than that everything is perfect: the food, drinks and attention of the resort officials. I highlight the attention of Miguel and Karen from the front desk and the attention of the bar tenders. The public spaces are beautiful and well-kept as they clean everything daily. We will definitely return next year with the children since the weather is nice, the resort is safe and the pools with the beach have lifeguards. As it is relatively close to the city, you can explore Cartagena without any problem and take tours or frequent trips since Uber charges cheaper than taxis.

We arrived around 1:00 pm and your room was delivered after 3:00 pm. You make a line for the check-in and when it's 3 o'clock another line, so they can assign you a room and put on your handles. In my case, due to the season, the lines were long, they do not have a water dispenser while waiting and the heat is strong, it is a room with a fan, I had to ask, insist that they give me the welcome cocktail that it says on the They give you a reservation upon arrival, and if you want to buy lunch you must go through the same long check-in line so you can pay and they will give you a yellow receipt with which you can go and request your order. A mother with her one and a half year old little boy had I have to go through that whole line again to be able to buy him soup and a drink to give him for lunch. Being an all-inclusive plan to provide water or flavored waters, having a welcome ice cream for the children would enhance their service, as they do in the hotel that we usually go to in Cartagena. We upgraded our room to a suite, I don't recommend it, that conversation is lost, I did it thinking it was the one with a jacuzzi outside but it didn't. It is the one that has a room where the furniture is deteriorated, dirty, with a strong smell of humidity and the air conditioning sounds all the time. The TV in the room is small. And if you take it, it is because there are several people, as in our case it only has one bathroom. The standard room is better, I was able to enter and see them to compare and they are much better than the suite. Where breakfast is eaten is an open-air restaurant, it is quite muggy, and the bees are too annoying, when I say too much it is too much, it is not 4 bees walking around, it is quantities, 6 bees can easily get into the drink, we had We had to change tables and leave part of the food there. And other families the same. The very friendly waitress helped us change tables and she herself said without too many things. I love bees and I know their importance. But so many is maddening. The drinks are delicious, the guys who serve are very friendly, the cocktails are super. Kindness in all the staff. There are recreationists at the pool and they have balls and games that they lend you there. There is only one large pool, and another that is only for adults. At night we had an event, a pleasant and fun challenge. But at the end there is only one point in the entire hotel to order drinks and the line is huge. You can reserve dinner at different restaurants with varied options, it is delicious, well served. And reiterated the staff is very friendly. The issue of kids being able to order ice cream is not at any time, it is only possible during specific hours from 12:00 to 3:00 pm, and at night from 6:00 pm onwards as well. Lack of personnel. The beach is quiet, you have sun loungers, an umbrella, and good security. Very few activities for the kids, nothing at night. Serious bell service, few staff. I would give the hotel an 80 out of 100.

When I was there, quite a few staff spoke English. I have this number for customer service: "If you have questions, we encourage you to reach out and contact your travel adviser or the AMResorts® customer care team at 800 597 4761". Hope this helps.
