The kitchen for breakfast offered a nice selection. We stayed in the suite. A large portion of the room is the whirlpool bathtub which we didn't use. The decorations are tired and way too fussy. The suite is on the main floor which limits the view and next to the communal kitchen and shared space. The fireplace is electric and produces...

We stayed one night at the Dockside Inn. When we arrived, we couldn't find anybody to check us in. Trying the door, it was open, but put you in a kitchen. I figured that wasn't right, and circled the house to find another entrance. No other entrance was found. We ended up calling the number for the place, and the...

This restaurant is the best by far in Central Newfoundland. When they were open on Sunday, they used to do a Sunday dinner which was really, really good. However, sad to say they are closed on Sunday now. We have tried different dishes at this restaurant & all are great. The staff are also excellent.

Took my Mother here for dinner when home for vacation. Both the service and food was top notch. Both would rival any high end restaurant here in Toronto. It was one of the best dining experiences I've had. Started with the soup of the day and we both had the chicken breast stuffed with traditional Newfoundland dressing and an orange...

Lovely room in this charming old house, great wifi, fabulous selection for breakfast, private bathroom, clean, warm, located in a very central location to all the sites. Owners are fabulous! Great dining room next door, need reservations on busy weekends.

My husband and I had dinner at the dockside. I had eaten here many years ago and I must say the food has improved. The menu is very limited but the prices are fairly reasonable. My husband had the filet and I had the lamb chops. We both paid the extra charge for salad but the portion was terribly small....

The new owner Sandra Gill was the perfect hostess providing a beautiful fruit basket upon registration. The kitchen was fully stocked with breakfast goodies. It felt like home! We rented the entire Inn for a family function and it was perfect.

We really enjoyed the heritage of this Inn. We stayed in room 3, that has 2 beds and a bathroom. The great thing about this room is that the beds are in separate 'rooms/areas'. The beds are small, I would be surprised if I was told that they are queen size. But other than that it was great. I was...
