Jan and Jerry have a stunning home, wonderful breakfast with local produce. The Location is perfect to explore North Devon and Cornwall. We enjoyed looking around the area, managed in 3 days to pack in visits to the local Rosemoor RHS gardens, Lanhydrock National Trust house and gardens followed by dinner in Rick Stein's Fish restaurant in Padstow. Had an...

We stayed 2 nights in this lovely B&B. Our bright and modern room was the twin which, like the double, opens onto the gorgeous garden and pond. Jan was so welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was perfect, clearly made with top quality ingredients. I hope we can stay here again next time we're in the area. Both nights we...

We stayed 2 nights in this lovely B&B, looking for somewhere to stay in the Hartland Peninsula area. The house is made of cob, rooms are spacious and very clean and there is a lovely garden around. We didn´t manage to take a seat on the freshly installed bench outside, but enjoyed our stay at Furzedon very much. Jan and...

Jan & Jerry Sharpe provided us with a memorable two-day holiday. Their double room is very spacious and well appointed with plenty of drawer and hanging space. It even has its own private entrance and a delightful outlook over the Devon countryside. The house is modern but of traditional cob construction. It is in a quiet location off the main...

We came to Devon from Essex for a wedding and following a long wet journey, were so glad we picked Furzedon to stay at. A beautiful recently built, by the owner, cob house. Two very well appointed rooms. Ours was very light, comfortable with a well fitted showerroom. Jan and Jerry were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble....

I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. In the midst of the wonderful rolling Devon countryside is this pretty cob house. Very clean, comfortable and large modern bedroom with ensuite and shower. Great breakfasts too with homemade bread and jams (and homemade cookies on arrival!). Jan and Jerry, the hosts. will make you feel very welcome.

A beautifully designed house which works perfectly as a B&B as guests have their own private access with lovely views of the garden and surrounding countryside. Jan and Jerry were lovely hosts - friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. Our double bedroom, together with ensuite shower room, was large and well equipped with nice touches such as fresh milk and...
