I stayed two nights and i was quite dissapointed. The hotel has nothing great to offer by themselves.
The beach is really nice, you can do snorkeling right there.
There's a shop that does not belong to the hotel and rents snorkeling and scuba diving...More
This trip was originally for our friends' wedding on April 21 and so we decide to make a mini vacation to St thomas. I chose this hotel for its location, good reviews, price, etc...and I couldn't agree more along with the other reviewers.
We recently had our wedding reception lunch at the beach resort and the staff was amazing to work with. Everything was organized over email and there was plenty of food for me to choose from for my guests. I worked closely with Jessica and she...More
My wife and I have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing and adventurous beach week at Secret Harbour Resort. This all suite location features condominium living in a resort atmosphere. They have great facilities to accompany your rooms. Some of the best calm, easy, snorkeling...More
Great snorkeling rate from the beach, good relaxing. We didn't try the restaurant. The people renting stuff on the beach were very rude to visitors...we almost left because they were so rude. The bathrooms are nice and free. Great little location for a day at...More

Didn't stay in that room but Tom A. seems to have hit the nail on the head with most of his comments. We were on the top floor and I would only do that again too however people with ground floor rooms can walk right out from their patios if you get up early and snatch a good spot on the beach by putting towels out on the chairs. Beach is fair in size but that's all relative to other places. You should get some chairs and an umbrella set-up early. St. Thomas has a rule where no beach is private (I believe) so people from cruise ships can come on to the beach there. That only happened a little when we were there in March.
Restaurant is top notch. Beach bar is okay, service is so-so. Views are fantastic. Taxis are a must if you have to go anywhere. Overall, a very nice place, quiet, peaceful and in the case of our room very well-appointed. Regret not going to Magen's Bay.
DO NOT walk to Red Hook. Too dangerous with the sight lines and winding roads.
There are lots of restaurants close but I would recommend taxis or renting a car. The roads are steep and narrow and I would not have been comfortable walking far especially after dark. We rented a car and it was great!
