This is not a grand 5-star resort, and we like it this way! This condo complex has a variety of rooms, most have been updated recently. Don't judge the place on it's simple, small lobby-main desk area. The staff was wonderful, especially Claudette, and they...More
We stayed in a ground floor room on the beach. Nice patio with table, chairs, lounge chairs. The room itself was dated but fine. The appliances in the kitchen worked fine and it was stocked with pots, pans, china, utensils, etc. My wife thought the...More
This place was perfect. We had originally booked a ocean view room, but were upgraded to a beach side room upon arrival. It was HUGE, and we were literally steps from the beach. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the bar made excellent...More
We were there for a wedding in November 2011 and enjoyed our stay. The condo we had overlooked the beach and was very large and had a beautiful view. The kitchen was newly renovated and the living room was tastefully decorated with plenty of space....More
I discovered Secret Harbour after investigating options on St. Thomas for a quiet, safe solo- getaway location to recharge and do some snorkeling. I was able to find all of that plus much more at this awesome resort. I went in October 2011 by myself...More

Didn't stay in that room but Tom A. seems to have hit the nail on the head with most of his comments. We were on the top floor and I would only do that again too however people with ground floor rooms can walk right out from their patios if you get up early and snatch a good spot on the beach by putting towels out on the chairs. Beach is fair in size but that's all relative to other places. You should get some chairs and an umbrella set-up early. St. Thomas has a rule where no beach is private (I believe) so people from cruise ships can come on to the beach there. That only happened a little when we were there in March.
Restaurant is top notch. Beach bar is okay, service is so-so. Views are fantastic. Taxis are a must if you have to go anywhere. Overall, a very nice place, quiet, peaceful and in the case of our room very well-appointed. Regret not going to Magen's Bay.
DO NOT walk to Red Hook. Too dangerous with the sight lines and winding roads.
There are lots of restaurants close but I would recommend taxis or renting a car. The roads are steep and narrow and I would not have been comfortable walking far especially after dark. We rented a car and it was great!
