Stayed in a double room. The hotel is centrally located 15 minutes of walk from the historical center. The room was comfortable, the mattress was great and the bathroom amenities were new and clean. The windows are doubled so there is no noise from the road outside. The staff was very helpful and arranged a taxi for us that cost...

Location was OK, a little further out but on par with what we were willing to pay for and therefore cannot complain. Radisson Blue Alcron is much more closer to the main street but more than what we wanted to spend. So Amarilis is at least a 10min walk from the city centre and to the airport bus station, probably...

First of all, me and my boyfriend thought that it looked better in pictures, because the room itself looks pretty average! :D It's not bad, but not too good! Honestly, we thought we overpaid for this hotel! Advantages: breakfast included in price, balcony (if you get a room at the top), quite alright location to get to other places. Disadvantages:...

We walked everywhere and only used public transportation to go out of town. The service at the desk was great, they helped us with everything and answered...

We really enjoyed our stay at Amarilis. We got three single rooms, that were more then we expected. The rooms seemed to be refurnished. The beds were a bit hard, but ok and they were almost 120 cm wide so very spacious. The only problem with the single rooms was that the windows go to a shaft with very little...

For the reasonable price, Amarillis offers excellent facilities. Right from friendly check-in, well furnished rooms and strong wifi connection (yes its true!!!) everything was perfect during our stay at this place. The breakfast buffet too was pretty wholesome but make sure you dont go too late. Most importantly, it is located close to shopping area and within 20 min walk...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
