Overall we were disappointed by this hotel. It is said to be 4 star and has won an award from Tripadvisor this year. However, although the room was spacious, the outlook was onto a derelict graffittied building. The curtain rail and skirtings were broken. There was no TV handset, or coffee making facility. The shower screen seal had perished at... More

Has the feel of a big city hotel on a safe but non-descript street. Interior is pleasing to the eye and the rooms were of a good size. Our window faced an interior courtyard and a boarded-up building but we didn't expect to see Prague's beauty and history from our window. The breakfast buffet was above-average. There are a couple... Staying here on a business trip and while the area isn't as pretty as the middle of old town, it's clean and there's lots of nice restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. You're right near the river and it's about 5 minutes walk to get into the main square. The room I had was huge, twin beds with a... More

Rooms are large and comfortable, decor is pleasing. Beds are excellent. Service is excellent, hotel is in a handy location a nice walk into the old town. Food could be better, but why would you eat in the hotel in Prague ? Reasonable price too. Give it a nudge.

I went on a work trip to Prague, and this was a little oasis of calm. Cool in the heat, comfortable rooms, nice staff and conveniently located about a 15 minutes walk from the main attractions. Well worth a visit.

We stayed in the suite on the 5th floor. It was huge and very nice. Dining room table, 2 couches and plenty of room for our 18 month old to run around. They are doors in between the living room and the master bedroom, so once our little guy went to sleep, we were able to relax in the living... More

Great little hotel in Prague, within walking distance to Old Town Square. Also very close to tram and subway for connections throughout the city. Very clean, nice rooms and a very helpful staff. Would recommend to others.

Location is fairly close to tourist areas, but a bit of a walk from the train station if you have much baggage. We didn't have any noise issues, spacious rooms but "double bed" is just two singles pushed together. Room was clean but had old stains. Free wi-fi. Front desk was helpful looking up schedules for night metro despite limited... More

The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes walk from the Republic Square Metro and that makes it a bit hard to get to, especially if you are tired in the evening. If this is acceptable and the fact that you have to pay for the parking, the hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are very well appointed and the... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
