One minute away from the Old Town Square, just above a very touristic street, the hostel couldn't be better located. It would be hard to find a place where you could enjoy a hot cup of coffee while gazing at all the hustle and bustle of one of the most iconic capitals of Europe, just below your window! The bedrooms...

Excellent service, they let us take a shower before our checkin, the building is old and the entry into an alley, more everything very clean and organized. And it is located in the center of the attractions of Prague, recommend!

What was good with this hostel was the central location, one minute from Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock. I never used public transport due to the fact that every major tourist attraction was not more than 20 min away. What was absolutely great with this place were the people working at the reception. The were extremely friendly and...

Clean bathrooms, comfy beds, free breakfast, nice people, perfect location - what more could you want? Good secure lockers, seperately locked rooms. Nice breakfast, including a sandwich we saved for lunch. Free adapters to borrow, and a nice large common space. Hostel does not organise nights out, but you can meet enough people to go anyway!

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our interrailing trip and had a great stay. The woman on the desk when we arrived was really really lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was fairly small and nothing special, but given we only paid £10 a night we were expecting much worse. The free breakfast wasn't...

The hostel staff really made this one for me, most notably the South African guy and the Argentinian. The advice they gave about where to go in Prague was really helpful and meant that we visited places that seemingly only the locals knew about and saw a side to Prague we wouldn't have seen otherwise. The rooms were adequate and...

Spending 3 nights here at the minute for my friends' birthday, admittedly it has no aircon but that's the only bad thing I can say about it! The location is amazing for seeing everything and the staff have been fantastic (they have my friend free champagne and chocolate cake for her birthday). It's a big hostel that's one of the...

Nothing amazing here but stil a good hostel. The location is the best thing about this hostel. Rooms are pretty standard as hostel rooms go, very clean though. Free breakfast only lasts till 10 which is a bit annoying if you had a late night (which we did as students). There were no mens showers on our floor which was...

We were not pleased with this hostel at all... The staff were very rude to us on arrival (and for the rest of the stay to be honest) they insisted we must pay in koruna cash only, however they would accept key deposits in Euros?!?! The rooms are small, and the girls bathroom on the second floor is just odd......

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
