We were not pleased with this hostel at all... The staff were very rude to us on arrival (and for the rest of the stay to be honest) they insisted we must pay in koruna cash only, however they would accept key deposits in Euros?!?! The rooms are small, and the girls bathroom on the second floor is just odd......

We visited for 3 nights and just left. Three good things about the hostel is it's very clean, in a nice location and the free breakfast was good enough. We started off being checked in by an American woman (we think called Marie) but she shortly changed to a not so nice as slightly rude woman who spent most of...

We stayed in this hostel for 3 nights and 4 days. The rooms are super clean and the location is quite ideal - 2 minute walk to Old Town square and a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station. There are enough WCs and showers per floor, the number of plug points inside rooms are sufficient and Wi-Fi strength...

This is a small hostel with a very good location - just seconds from the Old Square! However, there are very limited bathrooms and shower rooms- both of which are very public! The free breakfast was very limited a choice of two sugary cereals, orange juice, coffee and unpleasant sandwiches (but still free which is good!) The wifi was also...

This hostel was in the perfect location! Though I would have gotten lost if not for the reception staff. Jonny Dee was at reception when I checked in. He was welcoming and very knowledgable about the area. He recommended several great bars and restaurants and I enjoyed my time there very much. Jonny made my trip to Prague better than...

We were a big group (50+ people). We had a confirmed reservation but when we arrived there, they told us that they have some problem with pipes (?) and we cannot stay there. They had our phone and email, but didn't send us any information before. We've been told to go to another hostel of the same company (Old Prague...

This is a very average hostel. Staff isn't friendly. Toilets are very small and very few shower rooms. You will get wifi signal only at reception, kitchen, waiting area and on 1st floor. We got room on 4th floor, so no wifi connectivity at all Breakfast was average, I didn't mind skipping it. The only good thing about this hostel...

This budget hostel is situated in the heart of the old town close to most major attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful; giving great advice on local tourist attractions and tours. The provided breakfast was a little meagre and having to walk to a different floor for the showers was awkward ... but overall it was well...

In the morning, when you're sleeping staff enters in the room and Hoover it... Kitchen are too small... And not so clean. We have to pay...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
