For my first visit in Prague this hotel did not disappoint, the location of the hotel was really good, it is a fair walk to the old town (25 minutes I’d say, if your strolling)but that is not something I’d let put me off. There is a tram stop at the top of the road ( on the main road ) and if you jump on number 17 it takes you right where you want to be, and only a 5 minute walk into the Old Town Centre, the tram tickets can be purchased at the reception of the hotel. The hotel itself inside is so so nice, so clean and modern, the reception staff were lovely from start to finish, they were so helpful on everything and were able to help us out with anything we needed, such as extending our room checkout time as we had a later flight, it was straight away accommodated for no additional cost. We were bed and breakfast, the breakfast choice was rather good, we didn’t struggle to find something to eat. The room was lovely, we requested a twin room with it being myself and my friend travelling, and they very happily helped us out with that, the room was very clean and couldn’t fault it. The currency in Prague is something we couldn’t get our head round but worked out that 500kc was around £20 and went from there. It was rather cheap in places you do need to do your research on where to go as it’s not easy to just walk round and find things. The main square was the most expensive we found so we didn’t tend to eat / drink there. But all in all, would 100% recommend to anyone.…
Lots of positives in reviewing our stay in early January. We’d booked a standard room, which turned out to be on the second floor at the back of the hotel. It was a good size and well-equipped. Housekeeping was excellent. At times you could hear the sound of trains but it was faint and did not bother us. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant - the price on the high side for Prague but you couldn’t fault the quality. The only negatives were the smell of cigarette smoke in hotel-booked transfer cars to and from the airport and managing to get a table at breakfast and accessing the wide variety of food and beverages available. However this improved towards the end of our stay, probably as a result of those visiting Prague because of the Christmas markets having checked out.
In this hotel I experienced what it means that staff is friendly and helpful. Unlike other 5 star hotels I've been the last years. The gym is very good with a multifunctional strength training and a stunning view over the city. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a great choice of local specialities and fresh veggies and fruits. We also had dinner there and it was just delicious too, and beautiful decorated. This is my favorite spot in Prague for sure
I hadn’t stayed in this hotel since pre Covid. Then it was a fine Park Inn. Subsequently it has been upgraded and rebranded as The Hermitage Hotel. We stayed here in mid January 2023. What struck me most was the ambiance; it has a lovely vibe. The staff are great, the team on reception are professional, friendly and helpful, as is Michael at the bar. The decor, the finishes, and the cleanliness are all top class, and the service is five star. We will definitely be back.
Hermitage was a great choice for us. The location is good (not great, but very convenient to the tram, which is quick and easy to use). We had a good -sized room with high ceilings. Very nice bathroom. Great lighting throughout the room (a rarity in hotel rooms). Good shower. Excellent breakfast buffet. We had to leave early our last morning and they prepared a nice box breakfast for us to take. Staff were excellent; we were given fabulous and cheerful help from Susana at front desk (she deserves a promotion!).
We had a nice stay at the hotel, nice staff and very good cleaning before and under our stay. Spacious and good looking rooms. Situated close to public transport made it easy to move around. The last two nights we where waken up early at 08:00 by hammer drilling on the floor over us. This was very unpleasant and annoying.
Great four nights over New Year. Reception couldn’t have been more helpful, booked restaurants and trips for us and really accommodating with our room request. Breakfast was great quality with plenty of selection. Even the taxi service provided couldn’t be faulted. I would definitely stay again.
the room was very beautiful. the hotel is near from about 25 mins to the centre city. Prague it's amazing so we love everything! the staff was really great and very kind with our Girl who turn 5 years in 29th dicembre. we love this experience and we reccommend to everybody.
Booked a 3 night package through Jet 2, mainly because of the reviews / ratings. We requested a high floor in a quiet area mainly because I am a light sleeper. When we arrived we were allocated room 230, the receptionist after we had handed in our passports realised this and fair play to her moved and allocated us room 548 on the fifth floor which we were happy with, well initially anyway. The room itself was great, clean, the bed was comfortable and it was positioned in a quiet area away from the noise of the streets and trams many of the reviews commented on. Unfortunately we soon discovered, we were absolutely not in a quiet area of the hotel as the the gym was directly above our room (548) so any chance of an afternoon snooze after a day out walking or a late awakening on a morning was soon dashed, the relentlessness of the treadmill, the dropping of the weights were constant from 0700-1900 and sometimes beyond, in addition you could hear people continually walking on around corridors gone midnight so the peace and quiet we so desperately needed was not achieved at all! wanted wasn’t achieved at all throughout the duration of our stay! The hotel itself is modern and was fully renovated a few years ago, breakfast is ok with plenty to choose from, though the seating area is limited depending on what time you go for breakfast where you could find yourself waiting 15-20 minutes for a seat. The bar area is small but breaks out into a foyer / seating area just off reception. The hotel is spotlessly clean in a decent location and about 25 - 35 minutes walk into the main sight seeing areas, the staff were pleasant and helpful. But we wouldn’t return and therefore couldn’t recommend the hotel, If you have booked or are looking to book, I recommend you request a room away from the gymnasium because the noise spoilt what was a very enjoyable break away and the “only” reason we rated our stay a 3 rating!…
Hotel lovely just a but out the way. About 25 mins to main centre Would rather it have been a little nearer bars and restraunts. If we came again would try stay a little nearer the centre. Markets were lovely
