First, a pension is not the Hilton! You should not expect to have your room cleaned and your bed made every day, though they do leave clean towels. They do have tea making facilities, but only for the first day, I always take my own tea everywhere so that was not a problem. The room was immaculate, sheets and towels...

Very small rooms with poor heating and no conditioning. You can hear whatever your neighbors say. Our blanket smelled cigarette smoke - asked to change- new one smelled as well. Terrible bathroom. Best breakfast however! Variations, freshness. They offer 20% discount in Corto restaurant and welcome drink. See the pics.

This hotel does have a perfect location, right in the city centre and there is a market right outside it. The breakfast inclued in our fee was great too. Their own Italian resturant is great, and the receptionists are very helpful. and that's about the good things. This 3 star hotel is no way near 3 star, it is at...

We got the impression this was a cute Pensione in a great location, unfortunately the windy staircase, cramped room and lack of windows forced us to leave after only one night. In fact we forfeited the night and found alternative accommodation!

I stayed at "Corto" for few nights and I found it grat! The room was clean, and the towels were always immaculate. The accommodation is in a very central position: we did not realised how closed we were from the main square (the clock tower). The breakfast and the pizza was absolutely delicious! I am Italian and very fussy about...

We stayed here for a week at the end of March and could not ask for a better location. The market right outside is a definite plus - as is its proximity to Old Town Square. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was quite helpful - especially when we decided we needed an extra room after...

Excellent location, no more than 20 minute walk from nearly every key point of interest in the city. Easy, quick access to the subway station where a 90 minute trip will cost about $1.25 USD. This was great when transferring from the airport, a quick bus ride to the subway station and a few stops on the subway and the...

Thank you for nice review. We are working on improvment of internet. Regarding the smell on Prague 1 there is a little we can do as the smell comes from the pipes on the street. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay ...

Very good breakfast with great variety of breakfast and good location. The seating area is just perfect to enjoy a hearty meal in the breakfast. Just be aware if the bacon is cooked especially if your an Indian, and not served raw according to their standards. Rooms were abstract bit great if you want to just dump the bags in...

It's 3am and I cannot sleep, as you have likely surmised from the title of my review. I chose this hotel because the friends I traveled with were nearby and their hotel was booked. The reviews were favorable, and to be frank, I thought I had calibrated my expectations accordingly. Words like "charming" (small), "quaint" (old), and "rustic" (cold) are...

Thank you for your review. I am very sorry for misunderstanding. When you have booked the room it was mentioned that was with external bathroom / you were the only one using it, and only one having a key/. All other rooms has bathrooms inside. So nobody else use it.. It is a pitty that the receptionist did not mentioned...

The staff is very helpful, and if you have any special request they will defintely help you, all you need to do is send an email to them. If you ask them to arrange for a taxi from the airport, they will charge you 25 euros. The breakfast is usually included in their stay and even if not i would...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
