Excellent hostel in the middle of Prague. Excellent rooms with comfortable beds and great bathrooms paired with very outgoing, helpful and friendly staff complimented our stay in a lively and beautiful city.

The whole ambiance is just perfect to meet great people and make new friends. The staff is very friendly, laid back and helpful. They are extremely knowledgeable of the city and give the best tips on where to go and what to do. I had the time of my life! PS: Don't miss the PUB Crawl!

Everything about the place was great. The room was very clean, and the bathroom was probably the best that I have ever seen at a hostel. The staff were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The location was pretty good, although maybe a little far from the old town square.

Mosaic House has a good location in Prague. It's not in the busy area, but it is near most of the interesting places. My 6-bed room is clean and has everything I needed. (I just hope that they don't mix girls and guys together in one room.) Mosaic House also offers free walking tours for their guests which I find...

The problem with Mosaic is also the problem with Prague: what to do with all the hundreds and hundreds of drunken stag party groups visiting the city.? I was expecting some party-oriented backpackers, which I was used to while travelling many years ago, but the loud stag party groups lower the tone a lot. I heard lots of swearing and...

I enjoyed my stay here. The place is well located. The room and bathroom are unbelievably super clean and they've got air cond during summer (well you know how stuffy it can be during summer). The beds are comfy enough for you The receptionists are so friendly.

If traveling and young, stay here. It was affordable and worth it, included a kitchen which was great (most of my other accommodations did not have this). Beds were great, even came with free "safes" so if you have a lock bring it as you can lock up your bags in your room free of cost. Staff was friendly. Close...

Stayed here for 4 nights in March 2015… alongside 149 of my classmates. I expected this place to be another run down hostel as they're usually the only ones who accept student groups. What I found instead was almost hotel levels of comfort and staff so friendly and helpful I could hardly believe it. The rooms are extremely comfortable, super...

I went on a trip to Prague in early March 2015 with a few friends. We stayed at the Mosaic House in a hostel style room for 8 guests. We had no itinerary, and the people at the front desk were very friendly and had great tips for places to eat, visit, etc. The owner of the Mosaic House, Ludwig...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
