Stayed 3 nights in this hotel earlier this week and could not have asked for better. Located in the old town, on a relatively quiet street close to both the city and the river, the hotel is within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. Staff at the hotel were very welcoming and friendly and were only too pleased...

This quaint hotel located in the heart of Old Town is the perfect launching pad to see Prague. Not in the very heart of the tourist district but an easy 5-15 minute walk to all major tourist sights. The rooms are well appointed, though a little on the small side. The breakfast was fantastic- great variety of breads, cakes, fruit, cheeses, spreads and hot...

This hotel is relatively new, which means its modern, as are its facilities. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Rooms are very clean, towels changed daily. The rooms are sometimes a bit small, but very well furnished, comfy bed. The breakfast is really good and has a wide variety to choose from. The location is great, five minute walk...

Happened on this gem of a hotel in old town Prague purely by luck. What a great surprise it turned out to be! Located on a quiet side street (Klimenska) off a major drive (Revolucni) and centrally located within walking distance to Republic Square, Old Town Square, and Charles Bridge. To the north is a peaceful park and a short...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
