The location is perfect for getting around the city. The tram stops outside and the metro is 5 minutes walk away. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. It had everythingn needed for a few days away from home.

We have to tell you: really great location, right next to the metro station Dejvická that takes you to the historic city centre in less than 10 minutes.

The airport bus 119 stops outside the hotel, and it takes you less than 30 minutes to go to the airport, which makes trasportation very economic and convenient.

The hotel is located in a beautiful square.

Hotel staff is very friendly, polite and helpful.

Breakfast was delicious.

What really impressed us was how clean the hotel and our room was, spacious enough with a big bathroom.

Thanks once again to the hotel and wish other guests such a nice time in Prague.

Once again Trip Advisor was the catalyst in us finding us this wonderful hotel on the edge of Prague. Its about 3 stations from the centre of the city, and while the hotel is quite large - 7 floors I think - the rooms are spacious, the corridors wide ( see photo) and the breakfast is varied and delicious. The reception staff were most helpful, and with a metro station about 200 metres from the front door getting into the centre of Prague was easy and inexpensive.

I can say I would explore Hotel DAP gain when we go to Prague and the international airport is about 14 Euro's away. Nearby is a very good Czech restaurant as well as American fast food outlets. There is also a bus station near the metro which connects to the airport for those wanting to save money, and all in all the three days we spent there was one of the highlights of the 3 weeks we had in Europe

The air-conditioner was loud, but it did not cool anything, so it was very warm in the room. The bathroom was not the cleanest: the shower head and the shower cabin were full with limescale.

Great location, the tram stop and metro station within 100 meters, the breakfast was ample and delicious.

Stayed a couple of days with my autistic adult son. Staff was more than friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent with wide variety of food. Best coffee i've ever had in the hotel!!! Room with lots of space, clean, beds comfortable. Bathroom maintained to a high level of cleanliness, towels changed, toiletteries supplied. High speed internet available in the room, haven't checked TV.
Location very convenient since you get familiar with the area. Tram stop just outside the hotel also the bus & metro.
Will definitely come back again.

Rooms and bathrooms in five star’s size, excellent breakfast, clean and only three stops from a nearby subway station to center. But there is no list of location of stations on TW set (and for a Czech visitor it is a nightmare to locate the Czech stations somewhere between No. 32 and No. 53) and a receptionist is helpless to support you. In every visit it was the same, because the location was not the same! And wi-fi internet is very slow, good enough only for sending mails. It is a pity for such a good hotel.

The Hotel DAP is a very good 3 star hotel that puts a lot of 4 star hotels to shame. The rooms are very large with simple modern decor and comfortable beds but most importantly very clean. Breakfast has a good variety of buffet items and of reasonable quality. The location is very convenient being less than 5 minutes walk from the airport bus stop (a bus every 10 mnutes and only costs 32 Crowns/£1), the metro A line and a tram stop with numerous routes to the centre. It is also an easy walk to the centre, it takes about 30 minutes and the most direct route takes you through the castle and the old part of Prague. There are many good restaurants close to the hotel that are full of locals not tourists.... always a good thing for value and quality. The hotel rooms are very quite, I have had a garden facing room and a street facing room and both were good. Free WIFI also a bonus. So if you do not mind not being right in the centre then this hotel has a lot to offer,

I stayed at hotel DAP in Feb 2014 and had a fantastic time. DAP is situated a heartbeat away from the end of the metro A line (Dejvicka) it takes roughly 5-10 minutes to get to the main station Mustek which is a short walk from both the Old Town and New Town.

I stayed in a single room which was very clean and spacious with lots of wardrobe space. I felt very safe in this hotel which was very important to me a young female on my first solo travel! The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast is continental buffet and isn't anything to write home about but is edible and tastes fine, I went down for breakfast each day and enjoyed what I had to eat.

In summary I recommend this hotel and would definitely stay at Hotel DAP again.

I tried to stay at this hotel several times, but it was always full. Finally, on my last trip there was a room available so I booked it. I had a very large room with a balcony ( 301) facing the back, which was very quiet. There was modern furniture, fridge. The TV had only 1 or 2 English channels.
The only thing which I was very disappointed was the shower, which had a faucet with a shower hose, but there was no way to hook it on the wall, so we had to hold it and sit in the bathtub.
I would stay there again.

3 star hotel that gives excellent value for money.
Breakfast has every something different, rooms are big, staff is friendly. Location is excellent next to taxi stop. For a business this is an excellent hotel.
If I need to give a point for improvement it is the gym. Some free weights and it would be perfect...

Hannah asked a question Aug 2019
Lawrenceville, New Jersey
do they have a reliable luggage storage facility?
Answer from Dmitry Yakovenko
1 contribution
No, they don't. Your luggage will be stored at their utility room to the right and behind the reception, next to the fridge their staff are using. Not exactly "reliable", in my view. I wouldn't store anything there, my advice is to leave the hotel immediately after checkout for the reasons explained in my earlier review. But - I wouldn't stay in this hotel for the second time at all, in the first place. Decide for yourselves...

How do I get from the Metro station to the hotel?

Sorry, I read too quickly. If you go out the station, you are on the roundabout opposite the hotel. Literally 20 metres.

From memory the DAP Hotel has a receptionist on 24 hrs a day, so arriving at 1030pm should be OK. I'd let them know you are arriving late though, just so they are aware.
