We booked a room for a couple more than a month prior to our visit. At the check in they told us there was a mix up and we have to share a bathroom with another room! For this mistake they offered free breakfast (about 3 euro's per person). Totally unacceptable! After we threatened to leave they told us we...

This was a fantastic hostel to stay in for a weekend in Prague! The service was excellent, and always willing to help or to recommend places to eat or shop! It was very clean, and we were able to easily lock up our things. They provided towels and comfortable bedding, which was so nice! It felt incredibly safe and there...

For me, the hostel has only advantages. First of all, the price: the hostel is really cheap. Furthermore, the location is great: it is situated not far from the historical sights of the city. Moreover, the hostel itself is really good. Nice people at the reception. Clean rooms. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms. Towels included. A tasty breakfast not for...

Hostel Little Quarter is located just fiveminutes walk to Prague Castle in the historic Mala Strana or Lesser Quarter. The hostel tick most of the boxes.. it's cheap, 10 mins walk to Charles Bridge (on the other side of the river of the Old Town), clean room, good shower, large locker, towels and what I think is a big plus:...

We visited this past week with some old friends. We booked rooms 304 & 305, just off the breakfast room up several flights of stairs on the 3rd floor (US 4th floor). The rooms were clean & quiet. In-tub shower without curtain, in the shared bathroom, had ample hot water and provided shower gel. The beds were somewhat firm, but...

It was one of our best experiences in Prague. The location was perfect and close to everything. There are superb local restaurants around and the Nerudova street is very beautiful itself. The double room was huge, very clean and pretty cheap for 3 nights staying. Definitely will back again!

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
